Vancouver just elected COPE’s Solomon Yi-Kieran, who decries the “cruel austerity of capitalism” and yells “we didn’t start this class war but we’re going to own it.”
Voters, is this what you signed up for?

We will get big things built in British Columbia again.
New hospitals, long-term care homes, and major infrastructure projects that create jobs, strengthen our economy, and deliver results for British Columbians.
It’s time to get BC moving. On October 24th, vote Conservative.

Go vote Ken Sim and ABC.
• A record $400M committed to community centre renewal. You can go check the facts.
• Tripling road and sidewalk renewal funding to $104M
• Only party that actually gives a shit about South Van. The others only come for the free samosas once a year.
• Cutting red tape so businesses can grow
• Tackling street disorder that too many on the left seem willing to tolerate.
Keep #Vancouver moving. There’s more to this City than the left wing echo chamber.

Alberta closed the books on 2025-26 with a $2.2 billion surplus and the Heritage Savings Trust Fund finished the year at a record high of more than $32 billion.
We delivered that surplus in the same year we cut personal income taxes with a new 8% bracket, the lowest in the country. That put up to $750 back in the pocket of every Albertan and up to $1,500 back with the average family.
The Heritage Fund is on track to reach $35 billion in 2027 and $250 billion by 2050. Every dollar of income stays in and compounds. That is a promise to Albertans who come next and keeping it is one of the most important things this government will ever do.

New confidential briefing says the B.C. NDP government has committed to hand over approximately 400 parcels of public Crown land to First Nations.
How is this not the biggest issue in the upcoming election?

Voters in Vancouver Point Grey may be looking for a new MLA after learning that David Eby, with a $600,000 family income, is using $10/day taxpayer-subsidized childcare while low-income families wait.
Conservative candidate Alex McMillan is a hard-working dad who paid for his own childcare.

David Eby’s latest harebrained idea is to issue zero-interest loans to businesses in British Columbia. 💸
He’s basically turning taxpayers into lenders — competing with commercial banks. 🏦
Two ✌️ problems:
First, the province doesn’t have the money.
It has to go to the bond market, borrow that money at 4.5%, and then turn around and lend it out at 0.0%. 🤯
That’s a negative-carry loan book.
On $500 million, that’s $135 million in interest costs alone, over six years. 💰🔥
Then there’s default risk.
Banks are professional lenders.
They understand the number-one rule: lend money to people who will pay you back.
Government lending has a very different track record.
COVID loans had default rates exceeding 7% — 20x higher than what commercial banks typically experience. 📉
That same default rate would put another $35 million of taxpayers’ money in the furnace. 🔥
Add it together, and taxpayers are looking at a cost of $170 million — before administration costs. 🧾
Borrow at 4.5%.
Lend at 0%.
And taxpayers take the credit risk. 🎲
I guess David Eby is our banker now. 🏦
What could possibly go wrong? 🤷♂️ – at Vancouver, British Columbia
Small businesses hit by Trump's tariffs and the recent wildfires are falling through the gaps in federal help.
Our plan offers them interest-free loans of up to $1 million, so they can get through this and come out the other end stronger. And when they give a young person their first full-time job, they'll get a $5,000 tax credit.

David Eby’s latest tax hike will drive doctors out of BC, at a time when we desperately need more.
Eby’s plan is to tax doctors to pay for doctors. I've run a hardware store. If I'd tried that kind of math, I'd have been out of business in a month.
323,000 British Columbians are looking for a family doctor right now and can't find one. Doctors already get recruited to Alberta and the States every week. Why would we give them another reason to go?
Here's how we got here. David Eby and the NDP let spending run away from them. I disagreed with John Horgan on a lot of things, but he handed over the books in decent shape. Four years later we've got a record deficit and a new tax on the people we need most.
I'd rather spend the next four years growing the BC economy so there's more revenue for health care, without chasing doctors and job creators out of the province.
Strong leadership for serious times.
