🌠 That one's for you, Ethan Macclesfield's magical - and warranted - #FACup win over Crystal Palace dominates the @NonLeaguePaper front page Ethan McLeod's memory was just as prominent at Moss Rose yesterday and had to be at the heart of our spread on Macc's greatest triumph

HT: Solihull Moors 1-0 Carlisle United Ben Wodskou's instinctive hit of a clearance to the left of the box hands Moors the lead three minutes into first-half stoppage time Squelchy pitch stifling build-ups, particularly Carlisle's, but pretty even. Visitors had best 2 openings

The word ruthless gets used a lot when teams score a few but this truly was Four superb goals, Church's only four clear chances. Hosts still very much the better side, although 4-0 probably harsh on Spalding George Forsyth stood out. Knitted together a very neat performance.

Could not be said that @TownShifnal were bad, kept going even after game was dead but it didn't quite click @WittonAlbion found their groove and were incisive 2nd half. Striker Freddy Garbett, wide man Tom Hoyle and centre-half Geoffrey Ebhote showed flashes of class throughout
Andy Mitchell@sirandymitchellOct 14
FT: @TownShifnal 0-4 @WittonAlbion Witton turn on the style to dominate the second half Freddy Garbett body checked in box and strokes in penalty on 51 and then rifled low inside far post on 58 from a Joe Edwards cut back Garbett lifted sub Deji Sotona in to lob in on 90 (1/2)

The latest on the Gateshead takeover from the main man in the north east 👇 Flacks Group has taken over and is described as a specialist "in the acquisition and operational turnaround of medium to large-sized businesses in complex situations, where a rapid solution is critical"

A few thoughts from the GIS after an afternoon where I arrived to talk of genuine concern over Gateshead’s future and leave five hours later to news they’ve agreed a takeover deal in principle with an international group with assets worth over $7 billion. Totally normal stuff…

While Halesowen had the best chances, Rangers showed same grit throughout, an edge that gave you the feeling they could find a second wind at 1-1 Yeltz turned it on again at 2-1 down, the difference was that Stafford didn't have to. Found it hard when behind, less so when level
Andy Mitchell@sirandymitchellOct 6
FT: Halesowen Town 1-2 Stafford Rangers Chance-laden second half, Yeltz hit post again, then Jason Cowley swept in from dubiously awarded corner Deserved leveller but Yeltz lost edge when level, Boro missed big chances and Aderemi Efunugga converted poorly defended corner (1/2)

HT: Halesowen Town 0-1 Stafford Rangers Joe Dunne looped in from a corner to give Boro the edge at the break Halesowen had best two chances in an even 1st half that didn't really flow Yeltz claim one off inside of post crossed line, Stafford had a good penalty shout waved away
