So easy to get disillusioned with football what with Infantino, Manchester City and so on. And then @BerkoFC get an unexpected win at Southend and reach the FA Cup first round proper for the first time. The joy of their supporters is quite uplifting. Football is still magical

A late winner gave @BerkoFC a day they'll never forget, seeing off Southend United to also reach the #EmiratesFACup first round proper for the first time 😍
ALT Berkhamsted players in white kits celebrate wildly with jubilant supporters in the stand, as fans punch the air, film on their phones and pile in around them, alongside staff in navy club jackets and a steward in a hi-vis vest. White text reads “History Makers” beneath the Emirates FA Cup trophy logo.

An absolute rock at the heart of a defence that continually defied Southend. And chief fan rabble rouser. Today’s man of the match is James Gurteen.
Gurts is sponsored by Bowhill Recruitment. Thanks to Dan for all his support.
