Nigeria doesn't have elites. There's a cultural problem that bases the currency of respect on the depth of pockets. This is why anyone who manages to eclipse into any semblance of wealth, has a priority of stunting on others. This is also one of the reasons why means of transportation in other parts of the world, reigns supreme as status symbol in Nigeria. Even the lowlifers at the bottom of the food chain discriminate against each other based on the number of cameras their iPhones have. As for Nigerian billionaires, it is in their interests that these fundamental problems don't get solved. More people have to impoverished mentally, physically, healthwise, financially for the currency of their status symbols to reign supreme. Not even the towns, these billionaires are from - show any sign of fundamental progress.
