Bureaucratic delays deserve scrutiny. But suggesting that India is governed by oligarchs simply because Starlink faces regulatory hurdles is arrogance masquerading as an argument. India is a sovereign democracy, not a market to be bullied into submission. You respected China’s rules; India deserves no less. Ask your CIA friends. In 1998, India stood firm despite American sanctions following Pokhran. Those sanctions were eventually lifted. If geopolitical pressure couldn’t bend India’s strategic choices, a billionaire’s public tantrums certainly won’t. Indians are patient, but patience should never be mistaken for weakness.
