Chiefs @ Jaguars (I encourage you to read), because... THE CHIEFS ARE BACK BABY! 37 points last game on the... RAVENS! That's only happened in... *checks* 4 out of 5 games this season! The only team to NOT do it, is the CLEVELAND BROWNS. And, coincidentally, the only game the Ravens won the turnover battle in. But I believe this is more of a Browns being bad than a Ravens being good. Through 5 weeks, if an offense runs a play against the Ravens, you automatically receive 0.503 points, good for third worst in the NFL! Only Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid can take advantage of something like that and win as a +2.5 dog vs them! After all, they are the only the dynasty of the last 7 years. But let's be real. The Chiefs of last season were very suspicious. Everyone knows the story of the one possession win stuff and referee favoritism last season, so we don't have to speak about this. So far this season, the Chiefs are just 2-2 and putting up: Week 1: 21 points vs Chargers (respectable) Week 2: 17 points vs Eagles (respectable) Week 3: 22 points vs Giants (🤡game) Week 4: 37 points vs Ravens (VERY SUSPICIOUS) And now they meet Anthony Campanile, the defensive coordinator of the Jaguars. Despite the competition, this unit has been highly consistent, just like when he was the linebacker coach on the Packers last season, and just about every team he has been on. They are top 4 in the NFL allowing only .290 points per play while leading the league in takeaways at OVER THREE PER GAME. But like I said, competition has been slightly weak, but to then get 4 from the 49ers last game, makes me believe we can bank on it being favorable to us still. Now everyone says Chiefs 8-0 vs Jaguars since 2010! Lawrence 0-3 vs Chiefs since being drafted in 2021! But each meeting has gotten tighter and tighter, both straight up, and against the book's spreads... And now the rise of the Liam Coen led Jaguars meets the regression of the Kansas City Chiefs... Jaguars +3.5 (-110) 6.00 units to win 5.45 Chiefs 20 - 26 Jaguars And I believe we side with the books.
