100 Passes. Pure Rare Sats. Zero JPEGs!
Today, we officially announce the WecSats OG Pass
Let’s be crystal clear on what this is:
The OG Pass is not an inscription. It is a pure Black Uncommon sat.
The only inscription involved is our immutable manifest (Inscription ordinals.com/inscription/ec9… ), permanently proving and sealing the exact 100 sat IDs directly into Bitcoin consensus.
Here is how the 100 OG Passes will be allocated:
1. Confirmed Airdrop for Real OGs
To reward the builders and traders who backed us from day one ( Snapshot taken today) Every OG wallet that has already listed on trade.wecsats.io is included. No forms, no grind. If you used the platform, your pass will be delivered directly on-chain.
2. Distribution Structure
75 OG Passes will be released
25 OG Passes reserved in the treasury for project development, strategic partners, and long-term liquidity.
3. Real Utility & PerksHolding an OG Pass means holding a cornerstone of the ecosystem. Legends hold different.
A piece of origin is coming. Release date and airdrop execution schedule will be revealed soon.
Stay tuned.

Don't trust. Verify.
Most Ordinals collections rely entirely on centralized platforms or indexer trust to prove authenticity. We took a radically different path: mathematical, on-chain provenance directly anchored in Bitcoin consensus.
Here is how the WecSats proof chain works with zero servers to trust and zero third-party APIs:
1. One identity key, declared publicly
Our authentication public key is broadcasted in our DNS TXT records (_wecsats.wecsats.io):
0a0c1fd0c38d2c246df7626c8e01852838249aeda50ef59b35f7adc5525d752b
The DNS points the way, but the blockchain delivers the proof.
2. The exact same key visible in every single transaction
You don't need proprietary software to inspect this. In every single transaction witness, the Taproot leaf script terminates with the exact same 32-byte public key followed by OP_CHECKSIG (ac):
• Genesis :
84e6b4a623bf4ac07b990ddde46851b0708613eb3bdacc469ef7cda846d968bdi0
Raw hex : mempool.space/api/tx/84e6b4a…
• The List :
330b13b270c4ce602a5c344a98b53f50ab3447371c92a5c60ee1f84247f80744i0
Raw hex : mempool.space/api/tx/330b13b…
• HTML Explorer :
ec96624656214bf7600f5258efdf4cf3d94a39d2e12c77381953cb35a4bc5321i0
Raw hex : mempool.space/api/tx/ec96624…
The publisher's cryptographic identity is written in plain text across all three levels.
3. Unbreakable lineage, unique nonce & CBOR manifest
The entire collection forms a strict, verifiable lineage:
• Genesis (Block 970347) : the core brand visual.
• The List (Block 970357) : child of Genesis. It embeds a CBOR manifest signed via BIP-340 containing the issuer, node identity, a unique cryptographic nonce (8c494b5d...) to prevent replay attacks, the Merkle root, and the exact 100 ID listed.
• The Explorer (Block 970376) : child of The List, serving a self-contained, offline HTML explorer that renders the manifest straight in your browser.
4. Verify it yourself in two terminal commands :
Bash
# 1. DECODE THE LIST - copy, paste, run. Only dependency: cbor2
curl -s ordinals.com/content/330b13b… -o list.cbor
python3 -c "import cbor2;m,sig=cbor2.loads(open('list.cbor','rb').read());d=cbor2.loads(m);print(len(d['ids'])//8,'rare sats');print([int.from_bytes(d['ids'][i:i+8],'big') for i in range(0,len(d['ids']),8)])"
Result : 100 IDs verified. BIP-340 signature validated. Identical script keys across all transactions.
No database can tamper with it. No indexer can fake it. It is carved into Bitcoin forever.

An excellent, thoughtful piece on Bitcoin rare sats, clearly distinguishing verifiable rarity, Ordinals conventions, and collectible value.
Well worth reading and bookmarking! 👏

What I find most interesting about 840000 is that the physical painting was collected before I had ever met the collector or explained the full structure behind the work.
It was encountered first simply as a painting.
The Bitcoin block, drawing, 3D structure, digital development, and DPM provide another way into the work, but they are not required to experience it.
One viewer may enter through the network. Another may enter through the landscape.

840000
Giclée print from the original oil painting
Limited edition of 120 across all sizes.
840000 translates Bitcoin block data into a dense, architectural landscape rising from the water. The block provides the compositional structure, while the painting transforms that information into mass, rhythm, and spatial form.

A big thank you to the new collectors of Data Becoming Form.
🙏 @simtoshi, @AquaticXCP, and others, thank you for believing in this new body of work.
All four paintings from this first group have now been collected and are heading to different parts of the world. 🌎
And a special thank you to @buckethatbtc for helping make it happen and for supporting the series from the beginning. 🔰
This body of work started with a simple question: what happens when Bitcoin block data becomes landscape?
Now these first four works have left the studio and beginning their own lives with collectors.
Very grateful for the support, and excited for what comes next. ⏭️🙋♂️

The ultimate Uncommon Sat grail is a January 2009 Alpha Uncommon.
Last I checked, of the ~1,600 total 2009 Alpha Uncommons sequestered, fewer than 50 are from January.
One has surfaced on @Magisat_io for 0.129 BTC ($11,200).

I’m now the happy owner of an original Pepenardo!😄
Thank you @PepenardoStudio and thanks @scarcedotcity! 🙏🙏 Not sure I’ve found its final spot yet, but here’s a little photo :)
I built the Rare Sats Clock specifically to track the approach of these events.
It displays the next Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary sats.
No Ordinals indexer. Just a calculation method applied directly to my node.⚙️
