A bounded landscape, built slowly through structure, pressure, erosion, and time.

At Comic Con, I watched people laugh and cry over a printed photo with a celebrity.
What makes an image worth keeping?
In Post-Globalist Essays, I explore art, technology, authorship, and the value of human work.

More regional Bitcoin conferences are emerging. But does greater activity necessarily mean cultural growth?
After participating in MBS 2026, I began questioning the difference between visibility, participation, and meaningful cultural exchange.
My new essay, What Is Actually Growing?, explores these questions and how technology is making the distinctions harder to recognize.

Commission a new work that translates data, systems, and natural order into symbolic landscape. Each piece is uniquely conceived and handcrafted on oil on canvas.

Four days of #ComicCon2026 .
I fought the lines.
I survived the crowds.
I took repeated damage from concrete floors, fluorescent lighting, bad food decisions, and conversations that somehow lasted 45 minutes.
Lost one eye somewhere around Day 3.
Still standing.
Champion by technicality. 🥊🏆
Rejection is part of authorship.
In Data Becoming Form, the block data establishes a constraint, but it does not decide what the work becomes.
Early versions can be technically valid and still be wrong for the work.
Block 840000 first produced a pointed, geological terrain. I rejected that direction.
The structure stayed. The visual language changed.
That refusal matters.
AI, data, 3D, or any other system can generate possibilities. The artist still has to decide what survives, what changes, and what gets left behind.
Rejection is one of the clearest places where artistic judgment becomes visible.

Rejected image.
I don’t think of a work as belonging to only one medium.
A structure can become a drawing, a digital work, a painting, or a print. Each translation changes how the work is encountered, while the underlying idea remains connected.
For me, the important question is not which version is the “real” one. It is what each form reveals that the others cannot.
Data Becoming Form is built around that movement.

Drawn from Bitcoin block 210000, this work translates the structure of the block into physical terrain.

Since early 2025, my studio has operated under a written method, the Direction Provenance Model, or DPM, developed to answer one question: where exactly does human authorship live in AI-assisted creative work?
I saw these boxes setting on High Street and didn't think twice of what they where... Until @AntoniBatzu waved us over! Such a saved moment.
🥳
What I find most interesting about 840000 is that the physical painting was collected before I had ever met the collector or explained the full structure behind the work.
It was encountered first simply as a painting.
The Bitcoin block, drawing, 3D structure, digital development, and DPM provide another way into the work, but they are not required to experience it.
One viewer may enter through the network. Another may enter through the landscape.

840000
Giclée print from the original oil painting
Limited edition of 120 across all sizes.
840000 translates Bitcoin block data into a dense, architectural landscape rising from the water. The block provides the compositional structure, while the painting transforms that information into mass, rhythm, and spatial form.
