Today, a dream came true. It was an honor and privilege to be invited to discuss civic health and health equity at the White House. I’m grateful to be selected as the only medical student in this round table. This is the first of many opportunities to come. #MedTwitter

This moment is the fruit of faith, obedience, and sacrifice. God has been my strength through every challenge.
“May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.” – Psalm 20:4
I am a testament to this promise.
It’s been an honor to co-lead the Spine Patient Navigator Program with @RoweDana1. I’ve loved mentoring undergrads—teaching patient engagement and how to conduct and write a systematic review. Truly one of the most rewarding parts of med school!
What an amazing year! Incredible that our undergrad students got an intro to patient care, wrote scientific articles and presented over a dozen different posters! All under the teaching of our rockstar med students!

Last day of medical school.
5 years. Countless prayers. Purposeful transformation.
From anatomy lab to MPH to Match Day—this journey has been nothing short of divine. God ordered every step.

Mentorship can truly change the course of a life. Thank you, @drericksonspine , for seeing my potential, introducing me to orthopaedic surgery, and walking alongside me as I found my path. Your belief in me has made all the difference. #orthotwitter
God answers prayers. I will be the first doctor in my family. I’m beyond excited to make my dreams a reality and train as an orthopaedic surgeon.
Mom and Dad… we did it! 🇭🇹

Say goodbye to Red No. 3! 🚫
The FDA is revoking the use of this bright red dye found in candies, cakes, and medications 🍬🧁. Why? Studies in animals raised concerns, and the FDA is taking action to prioritize safety. @simplyant_

It makes my heart full to see these portraits of future surgeons. This is why we created FLXSUS. It is a huge honor to have the ability to expose college students to different surgical specialties. We are inspiring the next generation of surgeons.

Neurosurgical Residency never looked so good.
We made it through bootcamp—so when I tell my patient I’m their neurosurgical resident, I’ll be saying it with a bit more gusto.
Also did I mention, I have the best co-interns at the best program in the country. @Dukeneurosurg
Excited to share this feature by @Blavity! Check out the article where I discuss the importance of accessible reproductive healthcare.
