A year ago in Chicago, I met a great guy.
The context was sad, weird, and somehow funny.

Soon after, KRUU started sponsoring my open source work on GitHub.
It may look like a small badge. It is not. It means A LOT.
Thank you kruu.com/us/
Guess what.. the next one is going to be absolutely insane!
With 3 new @SymfonyUX components 🎅🏻
Another proof that @HugoAlliaume and @simonandre are on fire 🔥 Great release - congrats!
I'm excited to be heading to @symfonycon Warsaw this November!
I'll be talking about PlaywrightPHP, and some of the new things it brings to testing Symfony apps...
Real browsers. Symfony's test environment. And a few things that become possible...

This one has been sitting pretty high on the LiveComponent wishlist.
Downloads from LiveActions: redirect to a URL, send a file, or stream it on the fly!
And yes.. LiveProps and state update in the same response too!
(Coming in LiveComponent 3.5)

First version scope is reduced/limited in order to release first and then iterate on adding new features (interactive ones)
Open to any (constructive) feedback!
Minify Bundle can now also compress HTML files.
Thanks @HugoAlliaume for the feature!

Am I the only one not impressed by Astra so far ? Not saying it’s bad or whatever… just did not expérience anything crazy so far :|
My colleague and friend @WedgeSama introduced in Symfony form attributes!
That completely flip the usual approach: instead of building a form type around a data class, the class can simply describe its own form.

I've been playing with WebRTC lately, so... I made a small website about it.
Demos, games, and a few ways to see what this Web API can actually do :)

Paint's still fresh. Feedback welcome!
I'm a psychologist with ADHD.
Some ADHD adults are not unable to work.
They are unable to work full-time
and still cook, clean, answer messages,
see people
and feel like a person.
They can keep the job.
They just lose everything outside it.
Here is what that middle costs:

This is THE reason I started working on Playwright PHP almost two years ago: we can now offer 'in-process E2E tests' for Symfony apps, allowing fixtures, mocks, and test services to be used in real browser tests.
I'm very proud, and honored, to see SymfonyCasts talking about it.
End-to-end tests with JS but no web server?!
🎭 Playwright-PHP + Symfony hands the request straight to your Symfony kernel - so you get container access, PHP exception catching, DAMA rollbacks and ParaTest.
From a real browser. 🤯

Symfony Language Tools 0.16 is out! 🚀
Just 10 days after launch, version 0.16 brings massive updates to support real-world Symfony apps:
🔗 Deep Twig PHP connections: Autocomplete, hover docs, and "Go to Definition" for custom filters/functions
🐋 Docker support: Run application booting inside containers while keeping file navigation on your host
📦 Broader ecosystem support: XML service indexing, Doctrine XML/YAML mappings, and non-AssetMapper public assets
🛠️ More editors: Official extension for Zed, plus support for OpenCode & VSCodium
🧪 Tested against real apps: Continuously benchmarked on Kimai, Sylius, Shopware, Mautic, and Sulu
The official LSP is rapidly evolving during its beta—give 0.16 a spin! 👇
