Wow....
Patrick Stewart felt immortal.
To a lot of people, he wasn’t just an actor. He was Jean-Luc Picard. He was Charles Xavier. He was part of Dune, part of X-Men, part of Star Trek, part of so many movies and shows that helped shape generations of fans. The guy just always felt like he’d be here. That’s why this one hits so hard.
And that’s why I’m choosing this photo of him at the beach, holding a drink and smiling. Because that feels like Patrick Stewart too. Not just the legendary actor, but the man people genuinely adored. He had that wonderful sense of humor, that warmth, that presence. He always came across like someone who loved what he did, loved the people around him, and elevated every room he was in.
The world is a little dimmer today. Rest easy, Sir Patrick Stewart.

Lets examine the last 25 years of one-party control of Oregon:
In 2001-03 Oregon's budget was $34 Billion:
32% for education
25% for social programs
12% for infrastructure
12% for administration
6% for public safety
13% for everything else
The 2025-27 budget was $140 Billion, over four times higher:
18% for education
45% for social programs
7.5% for infrastructure
14% for administration
5% for public safety
10.5% for everything else
Focus on the money they are giving away: In 2001-03, Oregon spent $8.5 Billion, 25% of its budget, on social programs. In 2025-27, they are spending $62.7 Billion, 45% of the budget on social programs. That is 7 times as much and almost half the budget on handouts. The “Healthier Oregon” part of Oregon Health Plan spends $1.3 Billion and offers free medical for illegal migrants.
They spent $724 Million on “homeless services” = $60,412 per homeless person in 2024, and the homeless count rose anyway. Someone's getting that money, but you can walk around Portland and see all the homeless who don't look like they got any.
Oregon schools sank to the bottom of the US for reading and math scores. To "fix" low graduation rates, Democrats passed a law stating that students don’t need to prove proficiency to graduate. They just extended it again for next year, and are boasting about increased graduation rates.
Democrats aren't raising anyone out of poverty or improving education. They are building an empire of permanent dependency with themselves in charge. You can see their campaign ads saying, “Vote for us or the Republicans will take away your benefits!”
Kotek can’t blame Oregon’s money troubles on Trump. Democrats have controlled Oregon politics this whole time, even as the Federal government has flipped party control 5 times!

The entire history of the United States can be counted in just three overlapping lifetimes. And the third man just wrote the soundtrack for Toy Story 5.
In 1776, John Gray was a 12-year-old boy in Virginia. He grew up to fight in the Revolution and stood at Yorktown when Cornwallis surrendered. He lived until 1868, the last verified veteran of the Revolutionary War.
Before Gray died, a boy was born in Michigan in 1852 named John Harvey Kellogg. He would go on to invent the corn flake with his brother. He survived far into the 20th century and passed away in 1943.
And just two weeks before Kellogg died, a baby was born in Los Angeles named Randy Newman. Today he is an American icon, the voice behind decades of songs and film scores.
A boy who watched the Revolution. The man who gave us corn flakes. And the songwriter who wrote "You've Got a Friend in Me."
Just three lives, laid end to end, and you have crossed the entire history of the United States.

9/11 hit me really hard this year. the one thing I realized after reading new stories, re-reading old ones, listening to voicemails, and hearing people tell their stories, is that love is the only thing that matters at the end of the day.
thousands of people, facing the most horrific situations we can imagine and certain death, and all they wanted to do was call their family, their spouses, their friends, their children, and tell them that they love them. nothing else was important in those last moments for the victims of 9/11, except making sure their loved ones knew how much they loved them before they died.
that is all that matters in our last moments. that’s all it boils down to when we’re getting ready to leave this earth — who we loved, how well we loved them, and how much we told them. I love y’all.

Home Forward’s Ex-CEO Spent Public Money Without Proper Authorization
A 19-page report by a staff investigator raises serious questions about former Home Forward CEO Ivory Mathews’ use of public funds for travel—including a stay at a Portland waterfront hotel.
Last week, the Oregon Government Ethics Commission voted unanimously, 8–0, to investigate Mathews over lavish travel spending between 2023 and 2025.
Mathews resigned in May after WW reported on her extensive travel at taxpayer expense while Home Forward—the state’s largest housing authority—struggled to fulfill its core mission of providing affordable housing and administering roughly 12,000 housing vouchers.
The commission’s vote followed a preliminary review prompted by complainant
Amy Chapman. Investigator Patterson recommended a full investigation, concluding there was a “substantial objective basis to believe that Mathews may have violated the use of office and conflict of interest provisions.”
The findings paint a troubling picture.
Mathews appears to have routinely exceeded federal per diem and reimbursement limits, despite Home Forward being primarily funded by federal dollars. More troubling, she apparently did so without documented authorization from either the agency or its board.
The report also indicates that Mathews regularly extended work trips by adding personal days before or after conferences and then charged expenses to Home Forward.
She also repeatedly attached her personal hotel rewards account to stays reimbursed by the agency, raising obvious questions about whether she personally benefited from taxpayer-funded travel.
If Mathews authorized her own expenses, the ethical concerns become even more serious. Patterson noted that she “may have also failed to adhere to rules about a conflict of interest if she authorized her own travel expenses.”
The potential violation is not merely a matter of questionable judgment. Patterson said Mathews’ conduct may implicate ORS 244.040, which prohibits public officials from using their position for private financial gain or to avoid financial detriment.
This is what accountability looks like.
Calling out apparent mismanagement, self-dealing, and a failure to safeguard public money is not racism. It is legitimate scrutiny of a public official entrusted with taxpayer-funded resources.
And the responsibility does not end with Mathews.
The Home Forward board hired her. Yet these findings suggest the board provided woefully inadequate oversight of the agency’s top executive. A CEO should not be able to incur questionable travel expenses, potentially authorize her own reimbursements, extend publicly funded trips, and accumulate personal hotel rewards without effective scrutiny from the people charged with supervising her.
The board needs to answer for that failure.
The mayor should demand accountability from the Home Forward board—including a hard look at whether its members have fulfilled their responsibility to oversee the agency.
If they failed to do so, it is time for new leadership.
Public agencies cannot demand trust while treating public money as a personal perk.
Home Forward needs transparency, competent oversight, and consequences when those responsibilities are ignored.

Breaking: The US State Dept has connected Portland's Rose City Antifa to a foreign tech company that provides infrastructure to violent far-left extremist organizations.
The Oregon-based terror group has been using Italy-based A/I Collective to disseminate target information, tactical manuals, and claims of responsibility about recent attacks. This includes organizing attacks against ICE agents.
The US has now sanctioned the tech company. As a result, Antifa members who continue to use the platform will face civil and criminal penalties. thepostmillennial.com/reveal…

Domestic Terrorist Hasan Piker will be appearing at the Keller Auditorium on August 23rd at 7:00 PM PDT.
Hasan Piker is an anchor baby, His parents came to America from Turkey for the express purpose of sharting him out on US soil, then they went back to their homeland.
He lived in Turkey until he was 18 years old, and then came to America for Antiwhite Neo Bolshevik finishing school, commonly referred to as college. He's a great example of why the Supreme Court should rule the correct way, and say this is an abuse of the 14th Amendment.
Piker is a totalitarian who believe the people should be controlled by the Party. He should be in China, Cuba or Nicaragua NOT the US.
Hasan Piker’s net worth is estimated to be around $8 million. He purchased a $2.7 million home in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, in 2021. People don't realize how rich Hasan and his family actually are. His father was the Vice President of Sabancı, one of Turkey's biggest conglomerates. It's a 37 billion dollar company. So it's insanely ironic when he wears an emo shirt saying "make the rich pay" when he himself is a one percenter, and that is putting it VERY mildly. A rich kid lying to his uniformed followers like Portland DSA does with Nick Caleb ($1.9M Lake Oswego home) and Sameer Kanal with $2M Camas home.
Communism is a rich kids hobby.
Socialism is great for people who have no ambitions and no skills and have no shame.
Piker is another Socialist/Communist that enjoys the capitalism the US affords him. That makes him a phoney and a hypocrite. There are many more like him in this country. The names you all know well.
Let’s get at least 250 law abiding tax paying citizens to show up and peacefully protest this America hating communist.

Today, we remember a legend.
On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline.
Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme.
He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe.
Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on.
Gone, but never forgotten.
Rest easy to a true patriot. 🕊️🇺🇸

An Oregon father whose 5-year-old daughter was raped and killed by Dustin Wallace has published a heartbreaking video asking for help to prevent the release of his child's killer.
Tyler Dwight says Wallace, who received life in prison without parole, will likely be released after Democrats passed Bill 1008, which allows convicted inmates who committed crimes while under the age of 18 to have their sentences reduced.
Wallace murdered Sahara Dwight in 2010 when he was 16. His release hearing is scheduled for June 3.
