honestly the bar is so low that a 20% faster Explorer still means sitting there waiting on search 😅 that's why I've been building my own file manager, Sigma File Manager. free + open source if anyone wants to try it

Files is nice but there's also another nice alternative called Sigma File Manager, also free and open source. It also has tabs, searches all your drives in about a second and has many other great features
