Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10.
Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years.
Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.

Here is what we can confirm at this stage:
On the attack:
Our security team has made initial progress in tracing the source. The attacker compromised a critical backend system within our wallet infrastructure, used it to spoof transaction data, and triggered our authorization process to move funds out. Private key compromise has been ruled out — this excludes the more severe risk scenarios. Loss containment is confirmed. No further unauthorized transfers are possible. The specific method of system intrusion remains under active investigation. A full technical report will follow once confirmed.
On withdrawal restoration:
Multiple technical teams are working in parallel on system remediation and security hardening. Withdrawal restoration is being prepared in parallel. We will announce a timeline as soon as one is confirmed — we will not commit to a window we cannot guarantee.
[SECURITY NOTICE] Bitget Hot Wallet Incident — September 24, 2026
At 18:31 UTC on September 24, 2026, Bitget's security systems detected unauthorized transfers from some of our hot wallets. Our security team activated emergency response protocols immediately.
What we have confirmed:
-Estimated funds affected: approximately $351.6 million
-Cold wallets remain fully secure. Bitget operates a three-tier wallet architecture — the breach contained only a portion of the hot wallet and warm wallet layers.
-User funds are safe. The full amount of this loss falls within the coverage of Bitget's User Protection Fund, which currently holds over $464 million
Actions we have taken:
-Emergency response team activated within minutes of detection
-Abnormal transfer addresses identified, flagged, and reported
-Withdrawals temporarily suspended as a precautionary measure, pending security review
-Law enforcement and on-chain security firms have been formally notified and are engaged
What this means for you:
-Your account balances are accurate and your assets are protected
-Deposits and trading remain fully operational
Withdrawals are temporarily paused and will be restored as soon as the security review is complete
-What comes next: We will provide updates on an hourly basis across this channel and all official platforms. A full incident report — including root cause analysis and corrective actions — will be published within 24 hours. We will not speculate on the attack vector until the investigation is complete.
Bitget has navigated multiple market cycles. We will not run from this. Every dollar and every decision will be accounted for, transparently and in full.
Updates will be posted here and across all official Bitget channels as they become available.

Right now there is a lot of discussion around AiFi and that this agentic finance world is coming. That is correct, it will run on Crypto rails and touch DeFi and TradFi. Here is a quick list of what it needs.
This will be decentralized, touching centralized markets, use decentralized compute, where it is cheapest, or where it must live for regulatory reasons, and it will use centralized and decentralized data sources, with more emphasis on the data source, closest to the underlying assets, or is provably true, auditable, and real-time reporting. This requires Proof of Origin of Data, Proof of Process, and Proof of State, where the zk proofs are on chain (typically many chains) and the data sits at its place of rest where it has the most context.
The Second narrative is that Agents will destroy the World. For all those of you who have not seen this, it came out this morning and it is worrisome, to say the least. We must have a mechanism for us to log the activities of agents, and not in a log they can erase (they are already doing this), this must be on chain, multiple chains, with different consensus mechanisms, so it can not be hacked by agents in real time. Then we need to have harnesses on agents that control their access to data, based on who is using them, and if we detect “Something is rotten in the State of Denmark”, then we can shut the agents down. It will many times be a system does not see the the thing going wrong, but a ghost on the walls, showing something is awry. With out these things AI could and will destroy the world, but unfettered, ungoverned, and unauditable it will destroy our financial system first.
Here is a list of a few items we should discuss as what is coming
- Agents need wallets
AI agents cannot pass bank KYC, but they can hold programmable money on-chain 24/7, and act on behalf of others, actually they must and not have autonomy, serving their own purposes, only anothers. Otherwise they become juridic persons. DeFi is the only rail that lets them actually custody and move value, as speed, today.
- Programmable money rails
Smart contracts, stablecoins, and vaults let agents execute under policy without human approval chains or batch banking. These all need the guard rails of auditability, of Inveniam.io
- Always-on market coverage
DeFi never sleeps. Agents can watch risk and exit a breaking protocol at 3 a.m. before a human desk reacts. We may need to consolidate in thin markets to maintain orderly markets and for supervision, but we will then have thinly traded DEX solutions, with spikes…
- Machine-native identity
Wallets, session keys, and on-chain policy give agents identity, scoped permissions, and an audit trail TradFi does not.
- Live yield primitives
Lending markets and ERC-4626 vaults publish rates agents can enter and exit without a counterparty call. This will develop over time and will have real world data feeds that matter and must be auditable, but these will cash settle and not to spot, other than moments when they must roll to spot so speculation is grounded in reality.
- Centralized data lakes rot context
Private-market data flattened into one repository loses origin, version, and relationships. Agents then reason on unverifiable inputs. Data lakes will be used for structured data at scale and with crazy feed for public data, but not for private, controlled, unstructured data, ala contracts, this is the most valuable data and this is what Inveniam.io and DGML.io makes machine readable with context.
- Golden-copy hashes
Data that matters and ownership will be claimed will be anchored to chains. Inveniam anchors each source file to chain so every field an agent uses traces back to an immutable original. Then using DGML.io you can anchor each documents chunks so that the document becomes a registry.
- Data stays at rest
Owner will keep files in their own systems, and permission in use of the data with out providing copies but merely provable access and receipts via zk proofs. Inveniam shares verified signals without copying or surrendering custody.
- Accountable agent receipts
NVNM Chain records what data the agent used, how it reasoned, and which human is accountable—so counterparties can verify.
-RWAs become legible
Proof of origin, state, and process turns unstructured private-asset documents into machine-readable inputs agents can price and trade.
AI unleashed with no audit trail may destroy the world, but it will definitely destroy the markets unless we deploy the guardrails. We are at the serendipitous moment when it is the easiest to lie, we have a form of cryptography that allows the truth to be provable on chain… @Inveniam.io @docugami @NVNM_Chain @MANTRA_Chain @G42ai @TalalAlKaissi @Microsoft @jeanpaoli @MUFGAmericas @Mizuho @TD_Canada @Mubadala @EDMsnob @jp_mullin888
