A new report from @UN_Women & @ValueforWomen examines women-led MSMEs and barriers to women’s entrepreneurship.
A key recommendation of the report calls for the unlocking of women’s entrepreneurship potential through continued digital upskilling.
SIA continues to support #womenseconomicempowerment in this area through the development of the “Her Business, Her Future” curriculum, including modules on business management, financial literacy, & digital skills building meant to build capacity for women micro-entrepreneurs.

On Wednesday, SIA attended “Halfway and Hopeful: #DigitalInclusion and the 2030 Development Goals,” a discussion hosted by @DE_Accelerator at @AspenDigital.
The panel (@HazamiBarmada, @f_galtieri, Brighton Kaoma, Mariama Kabia) emphasized digital inclusion's potential to act as a a lever to accelerate progress towards other SDGs, but it also stressed the importance of intersectional, & inclusive efforts to increase digital inclusion.
The discussion was incredibly relevant to SIA's work developing targeted and localized #digitalfinancialliteracy curriculum through programs such as Hey Sister.
