Kimberly Guilfoyle is out as U.S. Ambassador to Greece.
The White House asked her to resign today and she confirmed it hours later. The Polymarket "out by Oct 31" market went from ~5% at the start of October to >99%.
How it unfolded:

Real traders found things we couldn't.
Biggest one: a payout bug in Earn vaults that could leave a market creator unable to get their funds out is now found, fixed and reviewed.
Security: on some Earn vaults the system calculated a payout using both pools of funds but only paid from one, so the exit failed. The fix pays correctly from both and refuses impossible requests. We also closed a gap where an outsider could have frozen such a vault.
Reliability: several wallet actions said "nothing was sent" or "you rejected this" for transactions that had actually gone through, so people tried again. We now always check the chain before reporting failure, and fixed the root cause behind all of them.
Reliability: two identical transaction requests sent at the same time could be quietly merged into one by our connection layer. Now sends and simulations are never collapse. what you submit is what gets submitted. Test pinned so it can't regress.
Also fixed: a faucet issue that wrongly locked wallets out for 24 hours, a chart that could go blank (caught, rolled back the same day, then re-landed properly), misleading "market locked" wording, and new markets being recorded with the wrong creator.
Where things stand: the app and site fixes are live on the public devnet now.
The Earn vault fix is merged and reviewed, reaching the network after final checks. Nothing here is on a main network, thank you for everyone for reporting bugs and delivering feedback.

Here's what we actually want from you on devnet V2 tomorrow: break the damn thing, and break it bad.
Create markets with silly parameters, deposit into the insurance pools, then withdraw. Stake, unstake, stake again. Open a position at max leverage and let it ride into liquidation. Trade the same market as everyone else at the same time, click things in the wrong order.
Why numbers matter: a bug that shows up once in 10,000 actions is invisible with 10 users and obvious with 5,000.
The failures we care about like two people hitting the same market in the same moment, a withdrawal racing a deposit don't show up in a test suite.
They show up in a crowd.
We've spent this cycle closing real issues, every one found before a single dollar was at risk.
That's the point of devnet.
Roughly 60-90 days after this, we're aiming at a mainnet beta market experiment small, public, real.
Everything you break between now and then is something a real user never has to.

i was reading about @PendulumFlow's open order-book data feeds and realized they have a pretty direct, practical use case combined with @vatic_trading's historic btc price and target price endpoints for strategy evaluation, backtesting, and market microstructure research purposes. so i built this:

combines both into one payload: real order book (PendulumFlow) + Vatic's target price, full BTC TWAP price timeseries across the window, and Chainlink TWAP resolution, for any closed Polymarket crypto up/down market

u can query them, they're public and unauthenticated. it's polling-based (get pending, poll again, eventually ready) since fetch time varies a lot by market.
