Narcissists can't stand to see you succeed or for you to be happy. This is why they are always looking for reasons to put you down, attack your self esteem, and trying to make you doubt yourself. They will never be supportive of you or your efforts, and never be happy for you. It is their own deep insecurities and unhappiness within themselves that cause deep envy and jealousy
This is true in psychology, only until meeting an abuser. As it pertains specifically to a Narcissist, the abused will never have the same level of trust in humanity ever again. It’s scientifically proven.
