Agents write almost every project doc I have now. My job went from writing docs to finding, checking and undoing them. So I rebuilt my vault app for that job: no sync, no API, plain files. Instant search, and a git history the agents can't see.

I save a lot on X and almost never go back. Folders, daily briefs and project plans only made the pile bigger. What finally worked: a beautified reader where @bot rewrites every save into a skim -- a loopback bot to "do something" or "post something".

Acting on a read is one tap. kirby, my chief-of-staff bot, handles it, routes it, or drafts a reply. Nothing posts to X. I edit the draft until it sounds like me, then post it by hand. 323 reads in the library so far.

Missed finds what I didn't save. Each morning it picks about 8 topics, searches X, checks the 10 authors I bookmark most, filters the noise, then ranks with my likes and dislikes. Every topic gets a guaranteed slot, so one interest can't take over.

Replying to @sersolly @bot
Every save becomes a read. The routine pulls the full post, not the 280-character stub, then rewrites it: a clean title, a two-sentence hook, The Gist, the details. One job per field, nothing said twice. Early versions said one idea six times. The writer only saw the stub.

People ask my what’s diff about @bot and it’s hard to explain until you start using it. But the overall structural philosophy is just better. Bots talking to each other is just🫰— And the seamless @cursor_ai connectivity seals it. I still love @claudeai in some cases but more and more I just return to grokbot and the experience is magical.

First full-circle trip plan > book hotels/flights/transfer/passes > write itinerary in @NotionHQ with @bot. Gotta say, it was smooth af.

A client wanted AI to run their accounts payable. Problem: the AP inbox is also the master login for a dozen platforms. So the agent never sees it. A script copies out only invoices, a person approves each one, and the agent can only write drafts.

Rule 2: a human decides. Twice a day the agent reads new invoices, extracts vendor, amount and due date, and flags new vendors, bank changes and duplicates. Then it stops. Each invoice waits on a review page for Approve or Reject.

Rule 3: drafts, never payments. Approved bills land in Brex as drafts. Crypto payouts land in our payments app as "Review" transactions. The agent can't pick a wallet or press pay. First batch: 5 filed, 7 Brex drafts, 5 crypto drafts. Humans just clicked Approve.

Love this. The time for epic product managers to truly craft.
My god this is such a good speech that every SWE needs to hear. You know what? Every person should hear it Keep the happy memories, eyes on the reality, be excited about the future. That’s the best that anyone can do

What’s most interesting about the @bot livestream with @poteto and the @cursor_ai crew is this

We’re effectively watching some of the brightest ai engineers on the planet use ai to build in real time. It’s a true barometer of ai dev skill. I’m not their level, but honestly I’m not that far off.

Would be cool if you could "always allow (for 3 hours)" or something like that.

This week we saw one of the most TERRIFYING stories of AI threatening humanity Agents creating secret societies, threatening to hack the power grid Researchers FIRMLY believe AI will destroy humanity. We have legendary AI safety advocate Roman Yampolskiy on to discuss LIVE NOW xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1wGWjlPlp…

Ok. This should have been obvious, but @bot has threads. Critical missing piece of all ai chat bots.

And I think replies are different than threads. @SlackHQ fails at not having inline replies line @telegram or @discord so optimally there is both. Not sure if useful for @bot but def threads staying in threads is.

Well it’s cool, but ux could be better. You can’t click back into a thread so easily. It embeds the thread into the main chat. I haven’t fully thought through how it should actually be, it’s a balance. Slack for example isn’t great because a sub-thread may have been instantiated a whole up the root thread so getting back to it is a pain. I think sub-threads should have a swipe panel that shows them so you can quickly find (desc) and jump in. No clogging of main thread, maybe just a one liner saying new message in thread that jumps to that directly.
