Postmaster General DeJoy has failed again and again to address any of our concerns about the @USPS proposal to move our mail processing to California.
We're calling on the Board of Governors to conduct its oversight role to stop this nonsense plan and hold DeJoy accountable.
Ahead of the next @USPS Board of Governors’ meeting, Nevada is pushing back on Postmaster DeJoy’s MISGUIDED plan to relocate Reno’s mail processing operations to Sacramento.

NEW: Postmaster DeJoy wants to make the USPS more efficient.
So his solution is to take mail from this rural Wyoming town, send it to be sorted in Denver, and then ship it back to Wyoming again.
It's not just absurd. It's also disastrous for postal workers and rural residents.

1,600+ books pulled from library shelves in FL, & it's only the start. Do the Dictionary or The Diary of Anne Frank sound inappropriate to you? They're just some of the material MAGA wants banned. MAGA wants to leave your children with less freedoms and access than you had.

Trained professionals determine what is in the library collection.
“Well who’s going to select the items in the library… librarians?!”
Yes. Yes they are.
That’s like saying “who’s going to work on our vehicles…. mechanics?!”

Death Valley at 1 am this morning was a mind-boggling 120°F (49°C), before bottoming out at 105°F (40.6°C) at 7 am.
One of the hottest nights in Earth's recorded history.
Censorship and book bans have no place in America. Period.
Today, some of the books that shaped my life—and the lives of so many others—are being challenged by people who disagree with certain ideas or perspectives. And librarians are on the front lines, fighting every day to make the widest possible range of viewpoints, opinions, and ideas available to everyone.
