This country might be a moral and social hellscape but do take a moment, please, to remember what it was all for.

Today it's been revealed that the energy price cap is set to rise to £4,266 in January.
We’re not going to accept corporations making record profits from the misery of millions.
It’s time to build a campaign to fight back: wesayenough.co.uk

100,000 people have joined the campaign in our first 24 hours.

"But *apart* from nationalisation, support for striking workers, poor relations with the unions, Covid policy, BLM, justice, corporation tax levels, lying to party members, foreign policy, suspending the whip from Corbyn, (etc, etc)
What did Keir Starmer ever do to the left?"
Replying to @owenjonesjourno @OwenJones84
I don't believe the level of hyperbole you are indulging in is worthy of engaging with. You've got a minor policy disagreement with Keir about whether to prioritise renationalisation of certain utilities. That's all.

📊FUN FACT: @ElectoralCommUK data indicates that, excluding state funding, £2m was donated to Labour in the fourth quarter of 2021.
Of this, £1.6m (77%) came from trade unions.

Proud to have been on the picket line today, standing in solidarity alongside workers and members of @RMTunion and @TSSAunion.
The Government needs to pay transport staff what they deserve, not force a real terms pay cut on them during a #CostOfLivingCrisis.

you don't have a rebuttal to anything I've said because you know it's all true. You know that Keir Starmer lied and conned his way to power, you just happen to support it because as far as you're concerned, any means justifies the end - crushing the left

Two months ago, the gap between Starmer and Truss was 25%, it's now down to 5%. Sure Truss is a poor public performer, but so is Starmer. The arrogant concept in Labour ranks that he would easily beat her in a GE is nonsense.

BREAKING💥: after weeks of discussions with members, our Executive Council has unanimously rejected employers' insulting 2% pay offer.
Replying to @KatyJayne101 @I___like___eggs
After a revolution, it's important to keep the same political structure and have a posh liberal who went to Oxford as PM, for continuity.

Life expectancy in the UK and Ireland used to track each other for decades, until the Tories got into power in 2010 and began implementing their utterly disastrous austerity experiment, then disastrously mismanaged the pandemic.
Voting Tory literally takes years off your life.
