A great mathematician.Humanity owes him much , he is entitled to many rewards.Unfortunately he is no more.
Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan discovered nearly 4,000 theorems and equations, original and revolutionary. Some of his findings were so advanced that they remained unproven for decades after his death. He also foresaw several ideas that later emerged in modern mathematics and physics, including modular forms, string theory, and black hole cosmology.

Do you know that #Elephants are the civil engineers of our #Forests? Every forest walk reveals how they quietly reshape the landscape. Their massive feet create and maintain trails that are later used by deer, gaurs, rhinos, tigers, and even people. These pathways improve movement through dense forests and grasslands. Elephants are also nature’s farmers. An adult eats well over 100 kilograms of leaves, bark, fruits, grasses, and twigs every day. Many seeds pass through their digestive system unharmed and are deposited, along with nutrient-rich dung, sometimes many kilometres away from the parent tree. This helps forests regenerate, connects plant populations, and supports biodiversity. As they move through streams and wetlands, they also influence water flow and create small natural openings that benefit many other species. Forest walk with the elephants. Today is #EngineersDay

Education and transformation in knowledge can help
826 million people still live in extreme poverty. In dozens of countries, extreme poverty rates remain above 40%—and progress among the poorest populations has slowed sharply. Why the $3-a-day benchmark still matters: blogs.worldbank.org/en/opend…

Peter Thiel on how to find meaning in life: "I find life to be very meaningful when we do things that are important that otherwise would not get done. You don't want to be just a cog in a machine. You don't want to be doing something that, if you didn't do it, a thousand other people would take your place. It's always 'but for you' — but for this venture or this company that you're working on, this important thing would not get done. That tends to be extremely meaningful, and I think you should always aim for that."

THE SEMICONDUCTOR ECONOMY INSIDE THE IPHONE 17 PRO It's really wild to see how one $AAPL iPhone 17 Pro is essentially a semiconductor economy in your pocket with 12 companies each capturing a different piece of the compute, connectivity, power, sensing and materials stack: 1. $TSM manufactures Apple's A19 Pro processor on its most advanced chipmaking technology turning Apple's chip designs into physical silicon at massive scale. 2. $AVGO supplies RF front end components and wireless charging technology (though Apple's new N1 chip displaced Broadcom as primary Wi-Fi & Bluetooth supplier this generation). 3. $GLW supplies cover glass and Ceramic Shield so essentially the material layer protecting the display and back panel. 4. $QCOM supplies Snapdragon X80 modem in the Pro models which is the last generation before Apple's C2 takes over and reason it stayed is mmWave support that Apple's own C1X lacks. 5. $STM supplies chips used around Face ID, cameras & power management helping Apple control sensors and photographic hardware. 6. $NXPI supplies connectivity controllers including NFC, secure payment hardware and USB Type C control helping iPhone communicate with accessories and contactless systems. 7. $CRUS supplies audio and power chips that help drive the speakers, microphones and other audio functions while efficiently managing power delivery. 8. $TXN supplies analog and power chips used for battery charging, camera flash control and display power so basically managing how electricity moves through parts of the phone. 9. $ADI supplies power conversion and charging chips that regulate voltage and make sure different parts of the phone receive right amount of electricity. 10. $SONY supplies CMOS image sensors, the physical light-capture hardware behind every camera on the phone. 11. $QRVO supplies RF front end modules that filter and amplify cellular signals so the phone can communicate efficiently across different frequency bands. 12. $SWKS supplies additional RF components used to strengthen and manage wireless signals between iPhone and cellular networks.

It’s rather astonishing United Nations general assembly has not been able to agree long time ago. The world 🌍 must be original as it’s. As a civil engineer I look at it.

Higher education is losing its race against AI. A report from MIT’s AI committee reveals AI can now credibly complete nearly every undergraduate assignment: From essays and math proofs to scientific problem sets and coding. As the report states, AI “can produce credible solutions and provide reasonable responses to almost any written assignment in our undergraduate curriculum, including essays, math and science problems, proofs, and coding assignments.” The report also highlights the broader cultural toll of AI on campus life: “Because many students are choosing or feel pressure to shift to learning and problem solving with AI, in less than three years these technologies have driven major shifts in campus culture, including decreased attendance at office hours, reduced participation in online discussions, and, as we heard anecdotally, a drop in in-person study groups in dorms, libraries, and other study spaces.” If machines can solve every problem, what is the true purpose of the classroom?

I also urged the StartUps to think about how space technology can contribute immensely to agriculture, livestock management, dairy, environment and many other areas that touch everyday lives. They can engage with Atal Tinkering Labs, spark curiosity among schoolchildren and inspire the next generation to participate in the space sector. Our private space ecosystem can become a major force for India and for the world!
