When we as a Country allowed the legalizing of abortion we opened the door to the insidious evil being perpetrated on our children. I Love the Lord. No DM’s pls

The reason the Bush-era Republican establishment/ globalist insiders hate Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is that he has a record of aggressively taking on some of the most powerful global corporations in the world. Under Paxton’s leadership, Texas has become a formidable force in antitrust, data privacy, and consumer protection litigation. And the results speak for themselves. His office secured a historic $1.4 billion settlement with Meta over the unauthorized collection of Texans’ facial recognition data and a $1.375 billion settlement with Google over unlawful tracking of users. He has taken on Temu over data security and consumer protection concerns and pursued legal action against other Big Tech giants. He has challenged the influence of BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street over alleged anticompetitive practices in the energy industry and targeted powerful proxy advisory firms over their alleged promotion of ESG and DEI agendas. And he hasn't stopped there. His office has taken legal action against pharmaceutical and consumer goods giants, including Pfizer, Eli Lilly, Gerber, and Nestlé, over allegations involving deceptive practices, consumer safety, and corporate misconduct. These are not small companies. These are some of the most powerful corporations and financial institutions in the world, with enormous political influence. Every time we turn around, it seems there's another major legal victory. That's why the Republican globalist insiders hate Ken Paxton. He is willing to challenge powerful corporate interests. And it's one of the reasons I strongly support him. I'm proud to vote for Ken Paxton in November, based on his record and on the merits. Republican voters should not sit this election out. #KenPaxton @TexasGOP

For those wondering….Texas effectively does not have a voter ID requirement. A voter without photo ID can now bring a utility bill, bank statement, or paycheck stub, sign a declaration, and receive a regular ballot. The voter doesn’t even need to know their own address, and election officials aren’t allowed to question the declaration.

My bet is that most Texans that will vote this November have no idea that Ken Paxton has sued and prevailed for Texans against Pfizer, Google, Meta, and General Motors or that he protected children, election integrity, firearms freedom, our oil & gas industry, and our border while serving as our best Attorney General, ever.

A) If you listen to sermons (good) pastors are preaching to their people, I think you'll discover very quickly this isn't true at all. B) You *have* heard more public comments from Christians at the societal / cultural level about it, because (as "crass" as the meme below can come across), this is generally how our culture has functioned for about ~15 years. It is simply unfair to have a culture waterboard your family with various expressions of Queer Theory for two decades, but when you say anything about it, they go, "Whoa whoa whoa... why are YOU so focused on THIS issue!?!?!!?" Simply put: We aren't. You are. It's been in every classroom, TV show, movie, album, school library, marketing effort, HR Dept, professional sports season, June calendar, corporate training, legislative agenda (from one party), etc for ~20 years. And we are sometimes forced to respond to that for the good of society, to disciple our people, and to parent our children.
Why does homosexuality seem to be the only "sin" Christians are concerned with? The Bible has plenty to say about adultery, greed, hatred, lying, stealing, hypocrisy, judgment, and how we treat others.

The only being who benefits from The Church staying out of politics is Satan. Our Founders intended to keep government control out of the Church never to keep the Church out of government. Only the foolish, the weak, and the communist promote the latter. Pastors are to equip the cultural gatekeepers, the men in the civic government arena, with a thus says the Lord instruction. Those who fail to engage in politics through speaking clearly thus says the Lord are Laodicean lukewarm at best and potentially just false prophets.
FAITH IN ACTION: Southern Baptist Convention president fires back at calls for pastors to stay out of politics, urging Christian leaders to 'step up' ahead of midterm elections. Willy Rice argues that abortion, marriage, gender identity and immigration are deeply theological issues that demand a pastoral voice in the public square. Rice says the political and theological left never withdrew from politics — and that their silence created a vacuum conservative Christians are now paying for. Pray for Christians in Iran. 🙏
VOM President Cole Richards writes: “Christian converts from Islam in Iran now number at least 500,000 and may exceed 2 million. In order for us to support them in prayer and loving fellowship, understanding the power of the darkness they face is important.”

Happy Sunday. Yesterday Pastor Josh posted Galatians 5:15. "If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other." I reread Galatians this morning. He was not posting a mood. He was posting the chapter. He stood up against a twisting of the gospel. A minister in James Talarico's church was on record doubting that Jesus existed and rejecting the cross as the payment for sin. Paul already named that. Another gospel. Let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8–9 That is the works of the devil being named in public. When that did not stick, the scraping started. A ladder used as a picture. An object lesson. Jesus held up a coin. He set a child in front of them. He wrote in the dirt. The devil will use anything he can find to attack men of faith. The answer from parts of the Christian world was not Galatians 5:6. Faith working through love. It was the list in Galatians 5:19–21. Enmity. Strife. Jealousy. Rivalries. Dissensions. Divisions. Envy. Paul says those are works of the flesh. We were called to freedom, not to use that freedom as an opportunity for the flesh. Through love, serve one another. The whole law is fulfilled in this. Love your neighbor as yourself. Galatians 5:13–14 So the biting is not discernment. It is flesh answering a man who named a false gospel. Paul said the one troubling the church with another gospel will bear the penalty, whoever he is. Galatians 5:10 The Spirit produces something else. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. If we live by the Spirit, keep in step with the Spirit. Do not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. Galatians 5:22–26 If a brother is caught, restore him gently. Watch yourself. Test your own work before you come after a man who is giving what he has to bring souls to the feet of God. Galatians 6:1–5 There is one Lawgiver and Judge. James 4:12 I love Lakepointe. I love the brothers and sisters in that room. Last weekend 882 people were baptized across eight campuses. Yesterday I sat there with my wife and my daughter while Pastor JP opened Acts 19 and preached the armor of God. Jesus Christ was named. The gospel was preached. People are going into the water. A man who will stand on a stage and say the true word of God is going to be hit. Hold the sermon to Scripture. Support the man while he is standing. The fight is real. So is the God who fights for His church.

Sorry to hear brother. I remember you riding with Joe on your Texas border visit. You were good with him. Now I know why… ~ Doc
Really tough weekend. Flew home to day goodbye to our sweet boy Axel after 12 years of pure joy and love with him. He was such a good big brother and pack leader for our adopted border pups. Accepted them immediately. And he helped our family through the loss of my dad more than he’ll ever know. Will miss him so much. Love you forever Axe ❤️

I keep getting Muslims in my replies trying to convert me, so let me save everybody some time. I am a Christian. I believe in Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. He is not merely a prophet, not one messenger among many, and not someone whose identity needs to be reinterpreted for me through Islamic theology. Jesus said, “I am THE way, THE truth, and THE life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Moses never said that, David never said that, and Adam never said that. Christianity does not place Jesus in a lineup of prophets and call it a day. Islam may teach that about Him, but I REJECT that teaching. And please stop assuming that if you explain Islam to me one more time, some light bulb is suddenly going to turn on. I studied Islam at the university level for years. I know what Islam teaches about Jesus and Muhammad, and I know its history, theology and traditional jurisprudence. I have heard the arguments, read the texts and considered the claims. I REJECT IT. I reject religious and legal traditions that have historically permitted polygyny, treated men and women differently in marriage and family law, and allowed interpretations of marriage involving girls at ages I consider morally indefensible. I reject the control and subordination of women wherever religion is used to justify it. And before somebody shows up with another lecture about how peaceful everything associated with Islam is, save it. The world has watched Islamist extremist movements recruit young men with promises of martyrdom and paradise, murder civilians in the name of religion, persecute minorities and impose theology through violence. We have heard Islamist movements and regimes embrace chants of “Death to America.” That does not mean every Muslim supports terrorism, child marriage, oppression of women or religious violence, but acknowledging that does not require me to sanitize doctrines, historical practices, governments or extremist movements that I find abhorrent. Most importantly, none of this is an invitation to debate my salvation. You are free to believe Muhammad was a prophet. I do not. You are free to follow Islam. I will not. You are free to believe Jesus was merely a prophet. I believe He is the Son of God, God made flesh, crucified and risen, and my Lord and Savior. So to everyone who keeps showing up under my posts trying to convert me, I have heard you, I understand what you believe, and my answer is still NO, and it will remain NO. I belong to Jesus Christ, and I REJECT Islam. You are all barking up the wrong tree. At this point, go find another tree.
