So I started digging into it myself. CAIR’s own numbers, congressional hearings, actual U.S. court cases, the Constitution, the Sharia-Free America Caucus and the 1991 Explanatory Memorandum that was entered as Government Exhibit 3-85 in the Holy Land Foundation case. Today on Earth, President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping concluded Xi’s three-day state visit with tea at the White House and a National Archives tour, where they viewed the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The two countries extended their trade truce for two months while disputes over trade, artificial intelligence, Taiwan and China’s ties to Iran remained unresolved. Trump warned Xi against Chinese support for Iran, while the U.S. ambassador to China said Beijing assured it would provide no such support. China denies U.S. allegations that it is helping Iran in the conflict. After three days, a state dinner, military flyovers and the Constitution, they agreed to keep talking. The United States proposed that the United Arab Emirates host a trilateral meeting with Ukraine and Russia aimed at ending their four-and-a-half-year war. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said talks would begin at a technical level and Ukraine was waiting for Washington to propose a date. The Kremlin said a three-way meeting could happen soon. The proposal came as Russia intensified its attacks on Ukraine. Russian strikes killed seven people in Kyiv, including a 14-year-old boy, and injured dozens. Ukraine’s largest steel plant also announced it was shutting down after four strikes in five weeks caused extensive damage and killed five workers. In Nigeria, fresh violence continued in Plateau State. Three local vigilantes were killed overnight in Gassa, Barkin Ladi, amid a week of attacks. Earlier violence included the killing of a pastor and other civilians, and a dusk-to-dawn curfew remains in effect across Barkin Ladi, Bokkos and Mangu. U.S. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna also drew attention to reports of attacks against Christian communities in Plateau State and called for the violence to stop. In the Democratic Republic of Congo, health officials warned the Ebola outbreak remained far from contained. Africa CDC said authorities identified about 30,000 people who may have been exposed, compared with more than 400,000 contacts they would expect to be tracing. More than 80 percent of new confirmed cases were being found among people who were not already being monitored. The outbreak has spread to 63 health zones across seven provinces and is now the second-largest Ebola outbreak on record. Off Somalia, Puntland maritime police freed the oil tanker Sibu 1 after it had been held by Somali pirates since August. Authorities said the pirates were taken into custody. The tanker is under U.S. sanctions for allegedly belonging to a shadow fleet used to evade restrictions on Iranian petroleum exports. It was at least the 13th vessel attacked this year off Somalia or in the Gulf of Aden. Across the Pacific, Hawaii prepared for potentially catastrophic flooding from Hurricane Nolo, which strengthened south of the islands with sustained winds reaching 105 miles per hour. Forecasters warned that eastern and southern portions of the Big Island could receive 10 to 15 inches of rain, with isolated totals reaching 25 inches. Farther east, Hurricane Polo remained an extremely powerful Category 5 storm off Mexico, with sustained winds reaching 180 miles per hour. In Chile, customs authorities announced that they had seized 222 ammonite fossils concealed inside a shipping container declared as carrying household ornaments. The fossils came from Madagascar, are approximately 110 million years old and belonged to extinct marine animals related to modern octopuses and squid. Museum specialists confirmed that they were genuine. Chile is waiting to learn whether Madagascar will request their return. And on this day in 1890, Sequoia National Park was established in California, becoming America’s second-oldest national park. It was created to protect the giant sequoias of the Sierra Nevada, including some of the largest living trees on Earth. That was one day on Earth. See you tomorrow. Same planet. I believe we are being invaded by an Islamist political ideology that has made no secret of wanting Sharia law in the West. When Netanyahu spoke at the United Nations in September 2025, Israeli officials counted 77 delegations as either absent or having walked out. Look at the list and you will find Muslim-majority states, authoritarian governments and governments of the left all standing together in that moment. For months I have watched video after video of radical imams and Islamist activists openly talking about Sharia, calling for the destruction of Israel and telling us exactly what they want for the West, and at what point do we stop dismissing what is being said directly to our faces and take them at their word? I have family in Spain. I know what they are telling me, and I am watching what is happening in England and France with mass immigration, failed assimilation and radical Islam while anyone questioning any of it is immediately dismissed as Islamophobic. Call me Islamophobic all you want, I could give a flying rat’s ass what you call me. The word means absolutely nothing when it is used to shut down an argument instead of answering it. Once you begin advocating Sharia as the law governing everyone else, we are no longer talking simply about religion; we are talking about government, law and political power, and our laws need to recognize that. If an organization claims religious protection while working to replace constitutional law with religious law, treat its political activity as political activity. Close the loopholes, enforce the laws we have and change whatever can constitutionally be changed to protect this Republic. I have no patience for people who scream about women’s rights, gay rights, free speech and religious freedom while ignoring what happens in many Muslim-majority countries, where apostasy or blasphemy can be criminalized, homosexuality is illegal, religious minorities face serious restrictions or persecution, women face unequal treatment under particular laws and legal systems, and child marriage remains possible in some jurisdictions. Current USCIRF findings continue to document severe religious-freedom violations across numerous Muslim-majority states, while current global data show consensual same-sex relations remain criminalized in dozens of countries. You cannot defend those freedoms here and make excuses when they are denied somewhere else. Either they are human rights or they aren’t. If a movement seeks political power to replace constitutional law with religious law, treat it as political. If our laws aren’t strong enough, change them; if loopholes exist, close them; if new laws are needed, pass them. Do whatever needs to be done within our Constitution to protect our Constitutional Republic.

CHRISTIANS ARE BEING PERSECUTED. WHY IS THE WORLD SO QUIET? Nigeria is where I want to start, because what is happening there right now is horrific and somehow still barely penetrates the global conversation. Christians are being murdered, kidnapped, driven from their homes and attacked in their churches, while entire communities live knowing the next village, the next church or the next family could be theirs. According to the 2026 World Watch List, 3,490 Nigerian Christians were killed for faith related reasons during its latest reporting period. Across sub Saharan Africa, 4,491 of the 4,849 Christians recorded as killed for their faith were killed there, 93 percent of the global total. In June 2025, attackers descended on Yelwata in Benue State, where displaced families were sheltering at a Catholic mission. At least 100 men, women and children were killed, while other sources placed the number even higher. People were shot, homes were burned and families who had already fled violence found it waiting for them again. The violence continues. Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province remain active, while Christian villages, churches and clergy continue to be targeted. Then there is North Korea, where Christians worship underground, hide Bibles and risk imprisonment, forced labor, torture or execution if discovered. Open Doors has ranked North Korea number one on its World Watch List for the twenty fourth time. In Eritrea, Christians are imprisoned for worshipping outside government approved churches. In 2025, authorities detained 44 Christians, including 27 teenagers, during a private worship service, while others have spent years behind bars. In Iran, Christian converts continue to be arrested and imprisoned for their faith. In February 2026, Christian convert and journalist Mary Mohammadi was detained and later transferred to an undisclosed location. In Pakistan, Christians live under blasphemy laws that can carry the death penalty, while accusations can lead to imprisonment, mob violence and threats against entire communities. In China, pastors and church leaders have been detained, house churches targeted and Christians pressured to submit to state controlled religious institutions. Now look at the numbers worldwide. Open Doors estimates that more than 388 million Christians face high levels of persecution and discrimination because of their faith, roughly one in seven Christians on Earth. During its latest reporting period, 4,849 Christians were killed for their faith, and more than 224,000 were forced from their homes, driven into hiding or forced to flee their countries. Pew Research Center found that Christians experienced government or social harassment in 165 of the 198 countries and territories studied in 2023, more countries than any other religious group measured. We talk endlessly about human rights, tolerance and protecting minorities, yet Christians are being killed in Nigeria, imprisoned in Eritrea, forced underground in North Korea, arrested in Iran, threatened under blasphemy laws in Pakistan and detained in China. And somehow, that barely makes the conversation.

Arrogance. Misplaced trust. Humbling. Remnant. Restoration. That is the pattern. I read Isaiah 10 today, and what struck me was not simply what happened to Assyria more than 2,700 years ago, but how clearly Isaiah describes a pattern humanity has repeated ever since. Power grows and arrogance follows. We begin trusting rulers, governments, armies, wealth and institutions more than God. What appears invincible proves temporary. The powerful are humbled, a remnant remains, and from what appears lost, God restores. Isaiah captures the arrogance: “Does the ax raise itself above the person who swings it?” Isaiah 10:15 Then the humbling: “The lofty trees will be felled, the tall ones will be brought low.” Isaiah 10:33 Then the remnant: “The remnant of Israel… will no longer rely on him who struck them down, but will truly rely on the LORD.” Isaiah 10:20 Isaiah 10 ends with the forest being cut down. Isaiah 11 begins with restoration: “A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.” Isaiah 11:1 More than 2,700 years later, the names have changed. The pattern hasn’t.
