I see 1000028 IPv4 prefixes. This is 240 more prefixes than 6 hours ago and 970 more than a week ago. 61.78% of prefixes are /24.

C is Latin, the root of all modern languages, the whole universe used to speak it.
C++ is French, it’s Latin with fancy rules, used by the elite around the world & in specific circles.
JavaScript is English, everybody speaks it, most speakers speak it poorly and others don’t bother learning another language.
Java is German, it’s verbose, over-complicated and it made me cry several times. I won’t elaborate.
Python is Esperanto, it was created to be so easy everyone could speak it. Its speakers could benefit from a shower once in a while.
Rust is Russian, most speakers have an authoritarian left background and want to spread it worldwide.

It's difficult to attract people to network engineering. Is this just a natural cycle? Will people come back? What happens if they don't?
Is there something we as a community should be doing to make it more attractive? What are your thoughts?
My Internet provider, @deutschetelekom (AS3320), implements BGP safely! Check out isbgpsafeyet.com to see if your ISP implements BGP in a safe way or if it leaves the Internet vulnerable to malicious route hijacks. via @Cloudflare

Short blog post on fabric peering for #vPC on NX-OS. Couldn't configure it in my lab, but I introduce you to the concept and some of the pros and cons to the traditional way of setting up vPC.

Remember the 50 routers in an #OSPF area recommendation? There is an interesting section in RFC 1245. Even in 1991, 50 was conservative. 200 was more realistic. That was on a 10 MIPS CPU. I'm not sure how many MIPS modern switch/router does? Maybe 100k? Scaling rarely an issue.
