Honestly, how did people fall for this lie? 🤦‍♂️ Elizabeth Holmes claimed Theranos worked with Johns Hopkins Medicine to develop technology that could detect pancreatic cancer in the blood 17 years before a tumor forms. But when 60 Minutes contacted Johns Hopkins Medicine, they said they had never collaborated with Theranos. Imagine making a claim that extraordinary and attaching the name of a respected medical institution to it, only for the institution to deny the partnership.

Charlize Theron says “I want to make love to you” is an instant turn-off and explains exactly what men should say instead. Charlize Theron: “Whenever a guy says, ‘I would like to make love to you’…” Kareem: “It’s an ick.” Charlize Theron: “It’s such an ick.” “You don’t get that that’s an ick? Just a dry heave, a little dry heave that comes with it.” “There’s a lot to unpack, but actually there isn’t. It’s just very simple. Don’t fucking say it. Don’t say love making. Because my vagina closes up.” “All the ladies know what I’m talking about.” “I don’t want you to make anything with me. I want you to do something with me.” “Yeah, let’s do it… well, don’t say that either, that’s fucking lame. Just fuck me. Like honestly, that’s it. Like just say that. I know I’m not alone in this.” Kareem: “I’ve been doing this all wrong my whole life.” Charlize Theron: “Please don’t make anything, especially not love.”

JPMorgan just raised its SpaceX price target from $240 to $500, and it got me looking at some of their older calls. In May 2023, they doubled Nvidia’s target from $250 to $500. About three months later, the stock touched $502.66. They also turned bullish on Meta in December 2022, raising their target to $150. Meta ended the following year around $354. But there were some big misses too. They were still backing Netflix with a $605 target in March 2022. A month later, they cut it to $300 after subscriber losses. It ended that year around $295. And in December 2020, their Tesla target was $90 while the stock traded around $650. Tesla finished 2021 above $1,000, before its later split. So I’m curious about this $500 SpaceX $SPCX target. What do you think would be the outcome of this in the coming months
JUST IN: JPMorgan more than doubles its SpaceX $SPCX price target from $240 to $500.

Apple have cut the iPhone 18 orders by 15%, this might be the worst performing iPhone by sales. due to reports of weaker than expected sales on the iPhone 18, and due to the iPhone 20 Pro coming out next year, and a lot of people waiting for that one instead. People have also recorded screen problems with the iPhone 18s where they feel their screens are much dimmer or yellower than they are supposed to be. And obviously the material problems with the phones chipping very easily and discoloration. This is the First time I've seen Apple cut orders by this much so it's a bit mad, but I'm not really surprised.

there is no reason for you to be broke as a boomer
If you invested just $5000 in McDonalds every year since 1990 this is what it would look like Boomers had the best market for any generation ngl

Nathan Fielder says he advertised gas at $1.75 per gallon, knowing customers would have to climb a mountain to claim their rebate. 😭💀 The strategy brought crowds to the gas station, but the ridiculous condition made sure most people never got their money back. 🤣

Benny Blanco was shocked to hear that Adam Scott is 53 years old and thought he was younger Benny Blanco: How old are you? Adam Scott: 53. Benny Blanco: Oh, my God. You look... I know, I'm an oldie. Lil Dicky: You look... I said this to Paul Rudd when we had him... I feel like, even though I know he's not our age, in my head and I feel this way about you're my... you're our age. Benny Blanco: Yeah, I know why. Lil Dicky: Because... thank you for raising your hands. These men have defined what your representation of people our age has been for like the last 20 years, because you guys... because you always play someone slightly younger than you. I mean, yeah, you've defined so much of our lives.”

Before Michael Saylor became one of Bitcoin’s most recognisable advocates, he had already lived through a corporate collapse. In March 2000, MicroStrategy announced it would restate its financial results. Its stock fell more than 60% in a single day. The accounting scandal later brought SEC charges and settlements. This was a serious failure, with real consequences for shareholders. But the company survived. For the next two decades, MicroStrategy continued operating as a business software company. Then, in 2020, Saylor made the decision that would reshape its future. He believed holding cash exposed the company to the erosion of purchasing power. His answer was Bitcoin. On August 11, 2020, MicroStrategy announced its first purchase: 21,454 BTC for $250 million. What began as a treasury decision became the centre of the company’s identity. The journey was far from smooth. By June 2022, its Bitcoin holdings had cost approximately $3.98 billion but were worth about $2.45 billion. The conviction was being tested with actual losses in market value. By the end of that year, the company held 132,500 BTC. In February 2025, MicroStrategy rebranded as Strategy, adopting a Bitcoin logo and making its transformation explicit. That is the history behind headlines like the one in this screenshot, reporting another 267 BTC purchase. A software company that endured an accounting scandal and a devastating stock collapse went on to rebuild its identity around an asset that barely existed a decade before its first purchase
JUST IN: Michael Saylor's 'Strategy' buys 267 Bitcoin worth $22 million.

Harry Potter star Domhnall Gleeson says he felt really embarrassed at a premiere where no one took pictures of him and only asked him when Emma Watson was coming “It was that nobody shouted anything and nobody took any pictures. And then one of the guys called me over, and I went over, and he said, "When... when is Emma Watson getting here?" I was like, "Oh, my God!" I just walked off. It was terrible. Yeah, thanks for bringing that up 😂”

In 2021, Scarlett Johansson sued Disney over Black Widow's Disney+ release, which reportedly could have cost her $50 million. Disney responded that it had already paid her $20 million. In the clip below, she tells CBS why she wasn't afraid to sue. "I felt right in my stance." She had played Black Widow since 2010 and pushed for a solo film for years. Her pay depended largely on the box office. The film came out on July 9, 2021, in theaters and on Disney+ at the same time. After a strong opening, ticket sales fell 67% the next weekend. Her suit said the contract promised an exclusive theatrical release, and that Disney gave up box office to grow Disney+ and save on her bonuses. Disney called the suit meritless and said it showed "callous disregard" for the effects of the pandemic. The contract, Disney said, only required a wide release, and the film played on more than 9,000 US screens. In September 2021, they settled. Deadline, citing unnamed sources, reported more than $40 million. Both sides said they would keep working together. In April 2026, she told CBS: "Sometimes you feel a little kind of lonely in the fight." She added: "I can shoulder the burden." People have since told her the case changed how they negotiate their contracts. So did Disney grow Disney+ at the cost of her paycheck, or did she sue over a promise her contract never made?

Tom Hiddleston reveals what the Loki directors asked him to do before he filmed the final throne scene "Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson gave me this amazing instruction 'Why don’t you go and sit in your trailer and have a think about the journey it’s taken to get here for you? Not for Loki, but for you" "I thought about the 15 years. I thought about Kenneth Branagh. I thought about Chris Hemsworth. All the original six Avengers. Every director, every crew member, every costumer, every makeup artist" "Of course I’m playing Loki, and Loki’s holding all the timelines together. But in my own heart, I’m holding all those people...Loki is sitting alone at the end of time. But I’m sitting here with all of you so be in it with me"
