Ben Affleck: Here's my take. My take is that promoting a movie by doing interviews actually makes it harder for people to like your movie.
Interviewer: 100% agree. It's actually a damn shame.
Ben Affleck: “It is. It's like it's the paradox. Like you have to go out and tell people to do it, but then it's kind of like, well, now I know, for example, people will be like, "Oh, Ben Affleck, he's just this guy," and, you know, it probably comes harder to believe that I'm like running for mayor of LA or having some other marriage.
That's why I'm always feel like I don't really want to know what Daniel Day-Lewis kind of had for lunch, because, you know, I like really believing him in performances. But you kind of you kind of stop.”
Florence Pugh says the next role she wants is one where is not recognizable like gollum
“I really want one of those roles where like I'm so unrecognizable that people are like, "Eh." I don't think I've ever fully played like... I really want my Gollum. I do.
I have never been on the list of actors that like they go to for those roles. But like I want to be Tilda Swinton in The Budapest Hotel and like wearing one of the prosthetics and no one recognizes her. Something that seems just so delightful about my reference of Gollum is like total freedom, total disconnect from what you look and feel like in this body.
I just feel like I would love it. I would love to like find all of the weird ticks and like go completely inwards on a creature that is so unlike my human form. So, there's any Gollums? Not Gollum, but you know, like a creature, like a goblin, or maybe a fairy, 'cause fairies don't necessarily always look pretty, they actually are a bit like.”

Honestly, how did people fall for this lie? 🤦♂️
Elizabeth Holmes claimed Theranos worked with Johns Hopkins Medicine to develop technology that could detect pancreatic cancer in the blood 17 years before a tumor forms.
But when 60 Minutes contacted Johns Hopkins Medicine, they said they had never collaborated with Theranos.
Imagine making a claim that extraordinary and attaching the name of a respected medical institution to it, only for the institution to deny the partnership.

Charlize Theron says “I want to make love to you” is an instant turn-off and explains exactly what men should say instead.
Charlize Theron: “Whenever a guy says, ‘I would like to make love to you’…”
Kareem: “It’s an ick.”
Charlize Theron: “It’s such an ick.”
“You don’t get that that’s an ick? Just a dry heave, a little dry heave that comes with it.”
“There’s a lot to unpack, but actually there isn’t. It’s just very simple. Don’t fucking say it. Don’t say love making. Because my vagina closes up.”
“All the ladies know what I’m talking about.”
“I don’t want you to make anything with me. I want you to do something with me.”
“Yeah, let’s do it… well, don’t say that either, that’s fucking lame. Just fuck me. Like honestly, that’s it. Like just say that. I know I’m not alone in this.”
Kareem: “I’ve been doing this all wrong my whole life.”
Charlize Theron: “Please don’t make anything, especially not love.”
JPMorgan just raised its SpaceX price target from $240 to $500, and it got me looking at some of their older calls.
In May 2023, they doubled Nvidia’s target from $250 to $500. About three months later, the stock touched $502.66.
They also turned bullish on Meta in December 2022, raising their target to $150. Meta ended the following year around $354.
But there were some big misses too.
They were still backing Netflix with a $605 target in March 2022. A month later, they cut it to $300 after subscriber losses. It ended that year around $295.
And in December 2020, their Tesla target was $90 while the stock traded around $650. Tesla finished 2021 above $1,000, before its later split.
So I’m curious about this $500 SpaceX $SPCX target.
What do you think would be the outcome of this in the coming months
JUST IN: JPMorgan more than doubles its SpaceX $SPCX price target from $240 to $500.
Florence Pugh forgives Christopher Abbot as he reveals he has not seen the new Spiderman and didn’t know she was in it
MTV Producer: I'm gonna give you a hint... Big potatoes.
Florence Pugh: Oh, Tom!
Christopher Abbott: What's that hint?
MTV Producer: Big potatoes.
Florence Pugh: Tom Holland.
Christopher Abbott: You just said it again. I don't know what that means.
Florence Pugh: It's okay. You don't watch my work. It's fine. I love you anyway.
Christopher Abbott: I don't watch what?
Florence Pugh: Um, the Spider-Man, the new Spider-Man, I was in it and I...
Christopher Abbott: Oh, I didn't know that. I didn't see it yet.
Florence Pugh: That's okay.
Christopher Abbott: I was... I was referring to the Odyssey though.
Florence Pugh: Okay, we were on totally different pages.
Christopher Abbott: You're in Spider-Man?
Florence Pugh: I'm in Spider-Man. Yeah. One scene.
MTV Producer: And she's great in it.
Florence Pugh: Thank you. She's very good in it. I was gonna say I loved seeing Yelena and Peter interact. Do you hope we get more of them?
Monica Lewinsky says she felt guilty and humiliated when the Ex president Bill Clinton denied having any affair with her
“I was split, because I felt so guilty. Um, I felt so guilty for everything. I I felt like this having become public was my fault, that I had, because I had confided in Linda. And so if I had not confided in her, I felt as if this wouldn't have become public.
And, um, so there was an enormous amount of guilt. I didn't want him to lose his job. So there was a part of me that felt, "Good, deny it. This is what you should do." You know, that sort of a thing. And then there was a part of me that, um, was so humiliated.
to kind of have the most powerful man in the world saying that, um, you know, basically you're damaged goods, like, is uh not something, not something you want as a 51-year-old woman and not something you want as a 24-year-old woman.”
Apple have cut the iPhone 18 orders by 15%, this might be the worst performing iPhone by sales.
due to reports of weaker than expected sales on the iPhone 18, and due to the iPhone 20 Pro coming out next year, and a lot of people waiting for that one instead.
People have also recorded screen problems with the iPhone 18s where they feel their screens are much dimmer or yellower than they are supposed to be. And obviously the material problems with the phones chipping very easily and discoloration.
This is the First time I've seen Apple cut orders by this much so it's a bit mad, but I'm not really surprised.
Benny Blanco: When you're on vacation. Do you unpack all of your things for the trip, or do you leave everything in the suitcase and take it out per day as you wear it?
Lil Dicky: Suitcase.
Adam Scott: Yeah, mostly suitcase, but if it's more than like five days, I unpack it.
Benny Blanco: So five days is the cut off.
Lil Dicky: What type of vacations are you going on? Three-month vacation?
Adam Scott: Five days is usually the cut off.
Benny Blanco: I'm thinking like a work trip. If I'm like going to be in a hotel for like six days, I'll put some stuff in... Yeah, yeah. But vacation, no, I usually don't take it out of the thing.
Lil Dicky: What are you doing?
Benny Blanco: Absolutely no rule. I just, however I feel.
Lil Dicky: No rule? Like sometimes you put everything in the dresser drawers?
Benny Blanco: Okay, if it's just, if I'm on like tour or something and it's just for a second, I don't, because that's how you forget stuff. You're like... that's like the rule for tour. You never do it. You're on tour and you're moving through a thing, you would never put something in a closet because you're going to forget it. And I don't even forget stuff normally, but I just like, I'm not going to do it.

Nathan Fielder says he advertised gas at $1.75 per gallon, knowing customers would have to climb a mountain to claim their rebate. 😭💀
The strategy brought crowds to the gas station, but the ridiculous condition made sure most people never got their money back. 🤣

Benny Blanco was shocked to hear that Adam Scott is 53 years old and thought he was younger
Benny Blanco: How old are you?
Adam Scott: 53.
Benny Blanco: Oh, my God. You look... I know, I'm an oldie.
Lil Dicky: You look... I said this to Paul Rudd when we had him... I feel like, even though I know he's not our age, in my head and I feel this way about you're my... you're our age.
Benny Blanco: Yeah, I know why.
Lil Dicky: Because... thank you for raising your hands. These men have defined what your representation of people our age has been for like the last 20 years, because you guys... because you always play someone slightly younger than you. I mean, yeah, you've defined so much of our lives.”
Quentin Tarantino replies to Martin Scorsese saying ‘superhero movies are not cinema’,
“he’s just an old man”
“Again, it's like... he's an old man. You think Scorsese is going to be into Ant-Man vs. the Wasp? Why not? But he's not going to be! All right, I don't think he would have been that into that at 37, forget about how ever fucking old he is now, all right? That's just not his thing.
I mean, even me, when it comes to... I used to collect Marvel comic books. I loved Marvel comic books. And, you know, if all this shit was coming out in '86, I would be all down with it. You know, they waited till I got too old, or, you know, for me to be so into it.”
