Carney leads for 10+ years - Canada joins The European Union - Immigration Brings our country to 50 million+ People, 60, 70, etc. - Canada becomes country with no ethnic majority. Christmas is just as well known as Ramadan or Diwali - Greater possibility for ethnic/religious tension as groups compete politically/socially for their place in Canada - Economic Growth remains unexceptional as most talented people/immigrants choose USA for lower tax rates, better healthcare, etc. I genuinely don't think this is being pessimistic or overly negative. Do you? This is just where the country is at. This is what the majority of Canadians vote for.
