I've been GrokBot pilled.
First of all, Grok knows me better than other bots, like Meta Muse, thanks to the 300,000 posts I've done here for 20 years.
But now that GrokBot @bot can read lists, it opens up powerful new personalized news capabilities.
I've done this for about a year over on alignednews.com -- but last month my X API bill alone was $6,000.
For a couple of hundred a month you can do the same with lists, either you create, or ones other people have created.
Last night I stuck in my "best in AI" list and had it write me this news page: docs.google.com/document/d/1…
Every hour my bot reads that list and builds me a new news page. Now I've only put about 10 minutes of effort into this so far. So it's not the prettiest thing you ever have seen, but my bots are working on other ways to present them to me.
And you can do the same for any topic you care about. You just need to build a list, or find one that's already built and there are millions of lists here on X on literally any topic.
Put your favorite football team onto a list, along with all your favorite journalists or other fans. Then have Grok bot read them for you.
And that's just the start. You can have it write you a script based on the news, then copy that into, say, @Gemini_Notebook and then you get a podcast, or a video. Based on what people are saying on your topic here on X.
Thank you so much X for making lists far more powerful than they ever were before. Makes the thousands of hours I've put into mine over 20 years so much more useful.
Tips?
Start small. You can chew through your tokens very quickly. It's amazing how good it is with a small list, like this one, which is what created the page up above: xitter.cf/i/lists/19535363366753… (Best AI accounts I've found out of 70,000 here on X).
Don't over hit it. You only need your bot to read the list every hour. Maybe even less. If anything is really important it gets reshared into lists, so the bot doesn't need to hit it often to build you a really great set of things that are important to pay attention to.
I've been begging for this capability for years. THANK YOU X!

AI can make almost anyone look like an expert. As polished work becomes cheap, the real advantage shifts to judgment, experience, taste, and knowing when AI is wrong.

At the @TheHumanoidHub robotics conference in San Francisco and this captures why I love San Francisco.
The guy who is giving a keynote today, @broodsugar is talking with @JayLiStanford who is making robot hands in USA. I turn on the camera and get a lot of info about what is happening at the bleeding edge.
And at the end we talk about the impact @elonmusk is having on not just him but the whole industry.

AI is scaling faster than the energy infrastructure needed to support it. As data centers demand more electricity, access to power, grid capacity, and new generation could become just as important to AI growth as chips, models, and computing power.

Making a robot?
You need parts. Small gears for the hand, that kind of thing. So this morning I visited a company in Berkeley. Quick turn machine shop.
Bringing manufacturing back to America.
Need to make a prototype robot?
This is a business you will need.
Factory of the future.

My agents read 13,999 posts here on X from the AI world today so far. And writes every word on this page, all with links back to X: alignednews.com/ai
Since I'm on vacation, thinking a lot about what to do with this. I have 4.5 million posts in my database.
If you had the ability to "talk to" all the posts from AI people and companies, what would you ask your agent to do?

Woz is back!
I am his first customer.
He got my career started.
I stuffed so many of his motherboards as a kid.
While we sat around and watched TV.
My dad built custom holders so we could stuff them while sitting on the couch. And a custom set of wires to take away any static electricity.
I once got to interview Woz in front of UC Berkeley’s business school. Said they had fewer failures than the ones built in its own factory.
What we didn’t discuss is how much love we put into them.
They were technology from an alien world.
There wasn’t anything else like it in my life.
Woz is still the nicest founder I have ever met.
And the original nerd.
As I get older I realize how special those few hundred hours spent with him were. Not to mention he gave me $40,000 worth of Mac’s to run the school paper on. And I remember thinking to myself, as we sat in the cafeteria of West Valley Community College, “can’t get that kind of education at Stanford.”
When @elonmusk talks about putting love into his products, I get that deeply.
I’ve decided it’s time to have a little more fun on X this year! 😄⚡
I get to speak at some amazing events, meet fascinating people, hear great stories, and occasionally find myself in places I never expected to be. So I figured… why not share some of those moments here?
And there’s more!
I’m also excited to launch my new merch. A little Woz spirit, a little fun, and hopefully a few things bring a smile to your face.
This is just the beginning. More adventures, more stories, and more surprises to come!

As AI systems become more autonomous and take real-world actions, it is becoming harder to determine who is responsible when something goes wrong. The growing gap between machine decisions and human oversight...

It is an honor that @sandy_carter is visiting my home in the morning with her husband.
She has given a top three keynote at @sxsw the past two years. Was a VP at Amazon Web Services.
She is pitching me something I will share after embargo ends.
Better yet, her firm is supporting me. And my team.
She is the toughest human I know and the sweetest too.
It really means a lot to me personally. Should be a great start to the week.
But even more special is my kids celebrate turning 17 and 19 later in the day.

How about this?
Who has the best AI in robotics?
When I ask people they point to @SkildAI
When I ask people "how many fingers do you need to do real work?"
Again they point to Skild. (Fewer fingers, but better AI, means robots are more affordable and are surprisingly capable).
The robot race in America is on.

I’ve been thinking a lot about where AI interfaces go next.
The biggest limitation today isn’t the intelligence of models like Claude or ChatGP.... it’s the lack of real-world context they have access to.
@vocci_ai is an interesting step toward solving that. A beautifully designed titanium ring that captures the context around you and lets your AI actually understand what’s happening in your world.
No more starting every conversation from zero. Just type @vocci_ai inside your favorite AI and bring your real-world context with you.
Wear the Context. Loop in Real Life.

The VITURE BEAST has been our daily driver for a reason...
@getVITURE has set the bar for what spatial computing should feel like.
The team and I have spent the last few weeks testing something that pushes that vision even further. We’re ready to share the next evolution of our ecosystem.

there’s one thing that people outside of sf don't understand about it.
it’s how much of the sf ecosystem runs on people helping each other. not in a transactional way but genuinely.
people like dev shah, bhavna, @MartinaBeg, and many others are constantly checking in, making introductions, giving advice, and showing up when needed.
i also met people who took time out of busy schedules simply because they thought they could add value to my journey.
people like @Scobleizer, @kushagra, ceo of key and partner at xoogler venture, and so many more people that i’ll be talking about in the coming days.
between the 15-minute to 2 hour conversations and unexpected intros, i kept noticing the same pattern.
the valley moves fast partly because people compress years of learning for each other. outsiders assume ecosystems are built by capital alone in sf, but that's where they're wrong.
spending the last few months here made me think they’re equally built by generosity as well.
small acts, introductions, and help always compound.

I'm building something new: AlignedNews.com/ai, my next venture in AI news.
So when @_ahacreator asked me to test their 3.0 influencer marketing platform, I gave it a real job. I pasted one link, AlignedNews.com, and watched its AI build the entire influencer campaign for my own brand.
What happened next genuinely surprised me.
