Today we remember the 97 who lost their lives at Hillsborough, and stand with the families, survivors, and all those still impacted by the events of that terrible day. Justice, truth, and lasting change must be their legacy. #Hillsborough #YNWA

It's a fact: not everything online is true. But misinformation spread online can have real & damaging consequences. Before you click 'share'... think. 🤔 Who is saying it? 🤔 Why are they saying it? 🤔 How do I know it's true? #ThinkBeforeYouShare orlo.uk/cDk35

Opportunity should be for all – not just a lucky few. That’s why education is at the heart of the change this Labour government will make and will be at the forefront of national life once more. Let’s get to work.

The 97 always in our thoughts and more so today. Many among us still live with a trauma made worse by 35 years of injustice and misrepresentation, we're here for you today and everyday. #JFT97
35 years ago we all went to a football match, full of hope, on the sunniest of days. 97 men, women and children never returned. They're not just a number, they had lives and dreams, families that love them now and always. Us, the survivors returned, our lives changed forever, we lost the person that left home on that sunny morning. Today we remember the 97 and those we have lost along the way. Thinking about the families of those unlawfully killed and sending strength and love to everyone who survived and witnessed what happened including @LFC and @NFFC supporters #YNWA #Unityisstrength

Out with the community skip yesterday morning, lovely to chat with residents and help with their Spring cleaning. #seftonlabour
Another hugely successful clean up day in Melling. Residents delighted with Labour councillors ongoing commitment to provide skips to areas throughout the ward. Our fantastic candidate for May elections, Sam Hinde and Cllr Danny Burns also on hand to help.
