I presented the Boundary Waters Permanent Protection bill today to the @MNYouthCouncil in a legislative hearing. These young people asked great questions & I left so inspired by their serious consideration of this bill & my separate bill with @CwodMN to elevate MYC's role in MN.

Today, Gov. Tim Walz’s Admin halted the Twin Metal mine plan. The MN DNR's decision comes after two federal mineral leases were canceled and concerns regarding its plan to store millions of tons of toxic tailings near the Wilderness.
