I see a lot being made of the Marmoush goal. This is what you call a deliberate elbow that actually breaks the players jaw! Hope this helps! 👍🏼
Really you just have to admire the pettiness of Sky to keep putting Alan Smith on Spurs games. He hates it and makes no secret of it, we hate it, neutrals hate it and their own product suffers. That level of spite cannot go unappreciated. 👏🏻
Sky sports putting in another good word for TF on MNF what on earth does this guy have on them? Absolutely insane PR for the worst Spurs manager in my lifetime and potentially all time.

Bloody hypocrite
Well said Lisandro. Wilcox, Berrada and the Jim reaper doing as much damage to #MUFC as the Glazers.
Disgusting from winter. Looking for his next victim after Romero left. Perfect tackle, thrown to the floor by shaw who should have seen red, both heads together, shaw reacts to try and get the decision,
Redrigo Bentancur….no excuses, headbutt, straight red, crazy from such an experienced player, 29, has captained Spurs, 80 Uruguay caps. so frustrating as Spurs had played well enough, just no finish. And now down to 10. #MUNTOT
Tough starts to the season for all three teams that I follow…
Carlton 0-8
Chargers 0-3
Tottenham 0-2-3
Let’s hope spurs and chargers can rally like the bluebaggers did.

The premier league never had a problem when Chelsea and then City were buying the world’s best players and improving the “product” to fight off La Liga etc. They are as much to blame as the clubs IMO
Man calling inquests into RDZ premature starts premature inquest into RDZ. Winter is coming, just as he promised. Reject his agenda.
Ridiculously premature inquests into Roberto De Zerbi’s management at Tottenham Hotspur. He’s been in charge for only 14 games, rescued Spurs last season, came in, organised, galvanised and kept them up. Should have plenty of credit in the bank.
RDZ’s career does show he gets emotional in times of stress, can fall out with people and must guard against some of his public outbursts about the team (however legitimate). “Fragile” is a heavy word that leaps into headlines. RDZ understandably angry with his players for individual mistakes (Robertson, Van Hecke, Van de Ven, Fernandes) but calling them out in public doesn’t always help.
Plus he bought six of them. Club gave him £350m and he didn’t address the attack properly. Marmoush best in a pair, a shadow striker. RDZ could also be angry with himself for not keeping Richarlison onside. Spurs created enough chances early on against Villa but didn’t finish plus Suzuki one of the signings of the season.
But even discussion of regime change is crazy; managerial churn (eight in five years inc caretakers) would simply set them back, set the sad cycle to continue. He’s a good head coach.
Spurs’ issues run far deeper than RDZ. Do players get comfortable – magnificent stadium, wonderful training ground? Is it because club often too focused on money (concerts etc), rather than glory? The main problem is Spurs play in spurts; they don’t sustain promising moments.
RDZ is having to combat Spurs’ ingrained culture of not being physically or psychologically robust enough. If they go behind, they rarely recover. There aren’t enough fighters. Antonio Conte highlighted that in 2023. Turning Spurs around is a long-term job. RDZ deserves time to attempt it. #THFC
As a club and fanbase we need to batten down the hatches until Henry Winter’s storm passes over. He will try his best to destabilise us, we can’t let him win.
Myriad of things the PL should do first if they cared about fans Oliver. Fixtures that make travel difficult or impossible, last minute fixture changes, multiple subscription requirements, draconian bans on items in grounds, kit prices, ticket prices, ticket exchanges etc etc
If the Premier League cared one iota about fans, it would scrap VAR at the end of the season. It’s time to do the right thing. dailymail.com/sport/football…
As bad as social media can be the ability for match going fans to push back on the narrative peddled by the media is massive. We go to the games, we see the agendas and we have a voice.
Man who didn’t want VAR involved in a clear and obvious error debate, which it wasn’t, now calling for forensic analysis over the disallowed goal. Henry’s had an absolute mare here!
Debate about Nottingham Forest’s controversially disallowed goal now taking in should Sandro Tonali have conceded a pen for a high boot? And/or shouldn’t Neco Williams be allowed to protect his head from an incoming boot? Should have stuck with the original decision. VAR was not meant (originally) to be forensic. And I’ve yet to see a picture of the incident, even the latest ones, that categorically confirms it was handball. VAR has had a mare here, frustratingly, as the start to the season was, by and large, controversy-free. #NFOTOT
Just a personal opinion but the idea of adjudicating any handball as either deliberate or accidental should wait until telepathic technology has been fully tested. Until then if it hits a hand it should be given as handball.
It was funny when we sold Berbatov, Carrick, Bale, Modric, Van de Vaart, Keane, Kane & Son, hilarious when Danny Rose talked about googling signings, laughable when we were “partnership” FC went 18 months with no signings and played at Wembley. Where’s your sense of humour gone?
Feels like Newcastle are about to enter their Reto Zeigler, Erik Edman. Thimothee Atouba, Noe Paramot, Mourni El Hamadoui, Grzegors Radiak, Hossam Ghaly era.
Villa and Newcastle fans make you realise how amazing it was for Spurs to break the top 4 monopoly without the benefit of oil money. Selling Berbatov, Carrick, Modric, Van de vaart, Bale, Walker, Kane etc year on year, constant rebuilds and jokes about being a selling club. #COYS
The only good thing about Romero leaving is that we will no longer have to deal with Henry Winters Falkland War Fantasies every week.
Cristian Romero is a very good centre-back when fit, focused and not suspended. He won the World Cup in 2022 and started seven games for Argentina at this World Cup. He was immense in the Europa League final for Tottenham Hotspur. Romero's a real mixture as a player: ability compromised by occasional unreliability; elite talent without always elite temperament; a defender who could read danger early but then also dive in late.
Romero’s a leader who can set the tone of defiance with a tackle, a clearance and a front-foot step into midfield or he can let the team down with a lapse of concentration and timing, a bad tackle and red card. “I know I wasn't perfect,” Cuti wrote on X in his classy farewell to Spurs fans. “But one thing gives me peace: I always gave everything. I defended this shirt with pride and with all my heart.”
He just needed to defend the shirt better by using his brain more at times. But when he was good and concentrating, Romero was very good. Now sold to Atletico Madrid for £34.2m, a Diego Simeone type of player if ever there was one. And Spurs won’t miss him if Jan Paul van Hecke (£52m) and/or Marcos Senesi (free) step up as expected. #THFC
There was a leak flooding my street from October 2025 to June 2026. Now there’s a hosepipe ban and they want to put up prices while continuing massive shareholder payouts? Get in the bin.
Londoners should not be forced to pay the price for Thames Water's failures.
They deserve accountability, not higher bills. Unacceptable.
