Again. Gross negligence trying g to make studies fit your dangerous narrative. Let me explain to the poor public that blindly follows you. So irresponsible. This study shows an association, not that low cholesterol causes higher mortality or that 210–249 is the ideal target. The higher death rates at low total cholesterol are largely explained by reverse causality: people who already have cancer, chronic illness, frailty, or other disease processes often develop lower cholesterol as a result of being sick, and then they die sooner. A long follow-up reduces but does not remove that problem, especially without excluding early deaths or properly accounting for comorbidities. You’re repeatedly treating this type of observational finding as evidence that higher cholesterol is protective or optimal. That interpretation doesn’t hold up against stronger data. Randomized trials of LDL-lowering therapies (statins and others) consistently reduce heart attacks, strokes, and cardiovascular death in higher-risk people. Genetic studies that lower LDL lifelong show the same pattern. Those designs are better at establishing cause and effect than population associations between baseline total cholesterol and all-cause mortality. All-cause curves can look U-shaped because non-cardiovascular deaths drive the low end. That does not erase the clear causal link between higher LDL and atherosclerotic disease. The evidence for lowering LDL when risk is elevated is stronger and more consistent than the claim that moderately elevated total cholesterol is preferable.

I am ashamed that I was once a smug asshole who dismissed concerns from Israeli relatives about Obama and felt so righteous about it. They were right.
According to @BarackObama, Jews fled Europe, arrived in someone else’s land and became “excessive.” Conveniently missing: The Jewish people’s millennia-old connection to the Land of Israel and centuries of continuous Jewish presence there. Israel’s legitimacy did not begin with European persecution. Neither did Jewish history.

I was in a bomb shelter in Be'eri with 18 federal judges from America. A young woman who had grown up in that kibbutz in a peaceful border community told me that on October 7th she was at her army base and all the members of her family had gathered in this house in the bomb shelter for safety. She said, "They all died here." She asked us to come inside of the bomb shelter. The entire house was charred black and burned to the ground and the bomb shelter was still standing. We were standing in the rubble of this home around this bomb shelter. She was inside and so a couple of us went in. She said, "No, all of you." So then a couple more went in. She said, "No, all of you." And then all 18 of us federal judges got into this bomb shelter where she had slept as a little girl. It used to have pink and purple walls and unicorn pictures. And we were packed in like sardines. She said, "A terrorist opened the window and threw in a grenade. And all eight members of my family—grandparents, parents, and children huddled together— were blown to pieces." It took weeks for them to take all the physical material off the walls and the ceilings. And they did this house after house after house. Hundreds of houses.

Pick the unethical one 1. Doctor A Follows the letter and spirit of the billing codes. Sees generally chronically ill patients that are somewhat time consuming. Makes time for sick patients, even if they make him run late Frequently gets home late, and does lots of paperwork at night at home Slowly going out of business. Thinking of selling out to a local large non-profit that is e allowed to charge more than double he does for the same work? 2. Doctor B Sees the same sorts of patients as Doctor 1 Maximizes billing within the rules Extracts every available dollar from the system without fabrication or subterfuge Has been audited several times and never failed - But these audits are time consuming, and costly - There is an ever-present threat that someday they will find a minor error and punish him for it Remains a profitable office, but not exorbitant 3. Doctor C Follows the letter and spirit of the billing codes, never pushing the envelope Frequently bills at the low end, substituting volume for code-maxxing Has refined his practice so that he only sees uncomplicated patients Squeezes as many low-complexity patients into his schedule as possible If any patient has a problem or asks too many questions, they are referred to a specialist Very demanding patients are dismissed, or opt out on their own Runs a very profitable office, and always home on time. 4. The medical billing system Uses complicated codes that are easy to misunderstand Tends to underpay for complicated care Encourages under-coding, while discouraging code-maxxing, even when legitimate Allows doctors to go out of business, then pays systems that employ doctors 2+ times as much for the exact same care
There are people, consultants not insurers, who’ve built entire careers and businesses out of unethically gaming the medical billing “system.” These parasitic actors add massive expense to health care. I think most Americans would agree with me that we need to address the incentives that entice these individuals to profiteer from sickness and death.

🔴 BREAKING: Iranians inside Iran put up a banner in Minab, Hormozgan Province, near the Strait of Hormuz, praising President Trump’s economic pressure against the mullahs’ regime and urging him to continue until the regime falls. It reads: “Mr. Trump, you’re succeeding in bringing this regime down. You are on the right path. They are scared, they are fleeing, and they are on the verge of collapse. We stand with you. Keep going!”

Here is @NYCMayor Mamdani 13 days after October 7th accusing Israel of genocide. Yet, Israel didn’t launch its counterattack on Hamas until October 27th. How is it possible for Israel to commit genocide a week before it launched its response to the massacre of 1,200 citizens and the kidnapping of 251 of its people? Mamdani’s genocide talking point was part of his hateful rhetoric even before Israel had a chance to defend itself. It has as much credibility now as it did then.
This was Zohran Mamdani only 13 days after October 7. No one could have predicted that this unhinged radical would become New York's next mayor. Israel had not yet launched its ground invasion into Gaza and he was already screaming genocide tnx @mazemoore for that video

The IDF painstakingly researched and provided a military ID number, rank and unit for every one of the 170 supposed journalists who were actually Hamas or Islamic Jihad terrorists. Much of this information was gleaned from the terrorist groups' own "martyr notices." That's what Albanese means by "not a shred of evidence." It's like 2026 Goebels with her.

Agree, it is a dangerous lie which there must be zero tolerance. There is no genocide in Gaza. No intent to destroy in whole or part the civilians of Gaza. There was a war in Gaza where Israel sought to destroy Hamas (the enemy and the goal) while taking extraordinary measures to protect civilians in urban warfare while also providing historic levels of aid to the civilian population.
The lie that Israel perpetrated a genocide in Gaza is not only false. It is dangerous - for Israelis, for Jews and for supporters of Israel across the world. The pro-Israel community should have zero tolerance for this lie and turn its back on all those who parrot it.

OCTOBER 7, 2023: SHE KNEW SHE WAS GOING TO DIE. Libi Cohen-Meguri, a 22-year-old infantry officer, went to the Nova music festival. She was shot while fleeing the party. At 8:11 a.m., she called her parents and said: “I’ve been shot in the stomach, I’ve been shot in the arm, I’m losing blood. I’m going to die.” Calmly, quietly, she understood; these were the last minutes of her life. She asked her parents to call Tomer, her twin brother, and Maya, her little sister, and said: “I’m going to die. I just want you to listen to me. I love you, Yariv. You’re the best father I could have asked for. Mom, stop screaming. Just listen to me. You are the best mother we could have ever had. Don’t forget to be a good mother to Tomer and Maya after I die. Tomer, how lucky we were to live this life together. I love you. My Maya, never forget—you are the treasure of my life.” When she finished speaking, her parents told her to get out of the car, lie down on the road, and pretend to be dead. With her last bit of strength, she got out of the car and laid down on the road. “Mom, they’re coming to shoot me again,” Libi said after lying down. While her mother listened on the phone, shouts in Arabic could be heard, and then a barrage of gunfire. It didn’t stop. It kept going, until the call was disconnected. And that’s how Libi died—with demonic beasts from the pit of hell standing over her and emptying a full magazine into her body. Libi died with LOVE on her lips: love for life, love for her family, and love for her people. Her memory will forever be a blessing. NEVER FORGET. NEVER FORGIVE. NEVER AGAIN IS NOW. Israel is hunting down every single Palestinian and Hamas terrorist who participated in the October 7th Massacre—to kill them all. They’re living on “borrowed time,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said. Sooner or later, every one of these monsters will be found and eliminated.

Horrific footage of two young girls running for their lives while a Palestinist chased them down like prey. He shot the first girl in the back as she desperately tried to escape. The second froze, turned around, and begged him not to kill her. He executed her anyway, without the slightest hesitation. This is what Palestinists from Gaza did on October 7. Never forget.

Worse than Hamas propaganda. I have now seen the documentary NAZA in its entirety, and it is worse than I imagined. Over three years, I’ve tried not to be surprised by ignorance, disinformation, and distortions relating to war, but this is at the top for many reasons. I will write a detailed analysis soon, but one of the worst, a massive claim displayed in the middle of the film, in bright yellow against a black screen: “Israel has killed more than 73,000 Palestinians in Gaza.” Not even Hamas says this. Meaning not even Hamas claims Israel has killed every Palestinian that has died in Gaza since October 7th. Hamas has publicly killed Palestinians to maintain power in the Gaza. There have been battles between Hamas and anti-Hamas clans. Up to 20% of the 12,000 Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad rockets fired at Israel fell inside Gaza. Recent Hamas reporting shows natural deaths on their list. To say every person that died in Gaza was killed by Israel is a vulgar lie. There are a lot of other lies, lies by omission, and lies of ignorance in NAZA, but this claim is unique and follows the lies, damned lies, and statistics for accusations that go against the actual number put out by Hamas or reality. More to follow on Naza.

Three findings from our study in @JournalGIM: 1️⃣For-profit hospitals spent less on both labor and non-labor expenses than nonprofit and government hospitals. 2️⃣For-profit hospitals earned a sizable profit margin, while nonprofit hospitals operated with a thin margin and government hospitals incurred a small loss. 3️⃣Nonprofit hospitals, despite receiving generous tax-exempt benefits, in aggregate provided less charity care than government and for-profit hospitals. Eagles -3.5 might be the easiest bet of your life. I understand Chicago is the sharp side. I’m telling you right now, it won’t matter one bit. You have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than seeing the Bears cover tonight. I’m one of the biggest Caleb Williams believers out there, and tonight the world is going to find out just how much he means to this football team. Chicago has a 0% chance of covering. Yes. ZERO percent.

Unlike @AbdulElSayed, I’m an Arab who is actually from Israel. My family lived through the establishment of the state of Israel and what he calls the “Nakba.” The Holocaust was nothing like the events of the “Nakba” where my grandfather was told to flee by Arab leaders (not Jews) so the Arabs could “defeat the Jews.” He refused, and all the Arab residents who stayed were given citizenship. Those who fled, a large number by choice, were not permitted to return, as often happens in war. That is a catastrophe, a “nakba” of their own making. But there was no choice in the Holocaust, there was no citizenship for those who stayed. You are intentionally comparing a war and a genocide. They are not the same. Your vile attempt to co-opt the largest massacre of the Jewish people in history, the systematic murder of six million people simply because they were Jews, for your own dystopian pro-terror Muslim Brotherhood agenda is despicable. I see through you Abdul. You may be able to fool Western Americans with your garbage, but we know who you really are. یا کذاب ابن کذاب

"Schindler's List" does not empathize with the Nazis. But if you want to understand how many Jews may have complicated feelings towards them, this movie can help. What a sick headline from The Economist. Many of the Israelis slaughtered on October 7 were friends with the Gazans that maimed, murdered and raped them, and dedicated their lives to assisting and helping the people of Gaza. They were not spared. The truth is, that Israelis are empathetic and never wanted the war that Hamas forced on them via their killing and kidnapping rampage - and by embedding their terror apparatus under homes, schools and hospitals across Gaza. Whenever there has been a credible peace deal on the table with any of its neighbors, Israel has signed it. Israelis want peace, but more than that, they want to be live.

A 71-year-old Jewish woman is dead in Queens. Cara Trager was a Conservative Jew who visited Israel 11 times and flew there in 2024 to sit with hostage families. She and her husband were walking home from a kosher Israeli restaurant on Memorial Day when a driver allegedly tore through a red light at 75 mph. The same driver had already been caught on video vandalizing a kosher bagel shop flying Israeli flags. Her family asked @NYCMayor Mamdani to meet them about the antisemitism tearing through his city. He declined. This is what “never again” looks like when the mayor won’t even sit down with the family of a slain Jewish woman.
