I'm Boris and I created Claude Code. Lots of people have asked how I use Claude Code, so I wanted to show off my setup a bit.
My setup might be surprisingly vanilla! Claude Code works great out of the box, so I personally don't customize it much. There is no one correct way to use Claude Code: we intentionally build it in a way that you can use it, customize it, and hack it however you like. Each person on the Claude Code team uses it very differently.
So, here goes.
Revealing insights from the last day, last slot at #KubeCon -- an inspiring talk about Fluent Bit by Eduardo Silva Pereira 🕊️

Takeaways 👇
🐳 Key Takeaways:
- Did you know that Fluentd and Fluent Bit are separate projects? (I didn't! 🫣)
- Grasp an overview of processing capabilities for flexible and powerful observability setup
- Use SQL for filtering -- sounds like cheating, in a good way!
🐳 Key Takeaways:
- Dive deep into mirrord's design, built on libc and low-level mechanics
- Snatch a glimpse of the seamless process-level "remocal" debugging and development experience
- Personal tip: I often use `mirrord exec -- zsh` for flexible testing

Bringing you another gem from #KubeCon: "mirrord," presented by Tal Zwick from @metalbear 🐻

The #KubeCon videos are out on YouTube! I'll be sharing my top picks in the coming days, but topping the list is a presentation from my fellow Japanese engineers @Ladicle and @inductor__ 🥰

Bonjour Paris! 🥖🎉 Getting ready for #KubeCon -- although I'm not presenting this time, I couldn't be more excited to explore, learn, and engage with fellow tech enthusiasts. I'll share daily updates!
Looking forward to sharing my insights on @SurrealDB, a database filled with promise, at Disruptive Tech London this Wednesday, 15th Nov 🥰
There are a couple more exciting talks. If you are in town, join me! meetup.com/disruptive-tech-l…
The #KubeCon talk "Building Better Controllers" by @_howardjohn was my highlight of the Day 1. The problem/solution covered was not entirely new, but looking at a wider scope of problems can lead to creative ideas, perhaps controversial, but that's what engineering is about? 😉
I noticed @pritianka had a demo recorded with @arcinternet at #KubeCon -- "100% Open Source" may not be true for that part 🙃 But I totally get how Arc Browser is a joy to use, and it's my default browser as well
It is exciting to see #Kubernetes Gateway API getting the v1.0 GA release

It's also worth checking out an article from @thenewstack about Gateway API, which is apparently going to be a series for understanding Gateway API

I had an opportunity to talk at London Microservices Meetup today. I feel that I didn't do enough justice for both @SurrealDB and mirrord by @metalbear.
While there is no recording available, the slide and demo details are here:
