Funny you say that, because in 2012 I ran as an Independent for the NJ-12 House district, the same one @BillSpadea ran for a few years earlier.
I didn't think that Dr. Eck or BWC would represent NJ12 well, so I took the advice of Eric Beck and got engaged.
And then...

In 1993, Trump signed a mortgage for a Florida home, pledging it would be his principal residence. Seven weeks later, he attested a neighboring property would also be his principal residence.
In reality, he does not seem to have lived in either home.

Russian military blogger says Ukrainian mid-range drone strikes on the main Russian supply route in occupied southern Ukraine have almost ceased because of the throttling of Starlink.
No need to elaborate on what this new freedom of logistics for Russia means for the frontline.

Ukraine gave up a nuclear arsenal valued at over $1 trillion dollars, including 4,500 nuclear warheads. Guess who asked Ukraine to do this? We did.
This is when a decent journalist would bring up all of the stock trades Trump’s done in his second term, and how they’ve been timed to his official announcements and actions to make him money
Russia, which got to keep its own nukes, broke the deal to invade Ukraine
Biden upheld the deal by providing defensive support
Trump broke the USA’s obligations, and is helping Russia now
No one will believe that Trump will honor any new deal he makes

In 1994, Ukraine gave up the world’s third-largest nuclear arsenal on America’s word.
This month, the president traded that word for a diesel deal with Putin.
Watch what he does for Putin. It shows what he wants to do with his power over you. 👇🏼

Trump has now not only cut ballistic warnings from Ukraine, but now even the Patriot interceptors Europe paid for.
Ensuring that Putin can more effectively massacre Ukraine's civilian population is now the core the Trump's "peace efforts", which just happens to be Putin's exact goal.
No one should question that Putin is now writing even the most intricate details of U.S. policy.
Or maybe, just maybe…

A brief review of recent technical “errors” at Meta:
1. Restricting the Facebook pages of Brazilian president Lula who is in a runoff election against a Trump-favored candidate
2. Shutting down the pages of Albanians protesting Jared Kushner’s plans to build a luxury resort in the country
3. Rejecting ads for a documentary critical of Elon Musk
4. Shutting down the No Kings instagram page in the middle of a major anti-Trump protest
Trump wants to meet with the dictator responsible for this child's murder, and draft terms with Putin that would reward Russia with Ukrainian land and resources for doing this
A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.
I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

The Russians attacked the central park in Nova Vodolaha with a drone—at a time when many people were present, including families with children.
Elon Musk and Trump are helping Russia in such horrific attacks.

FDR decides to sign a deal with Germany to rebuild France after recognizing that it’s now German territory
And he tells Churchill that the USA will regard England as an aggressor if it continues its defensive fight against Germany
President Trump is signaling that he may be prepared to sign a peace agreement with Russia and dare Ukraine to reject it.
Before you scoff, consider this hypothetical scenario:
1. Trump announces a 28-point peace framework that includes hundreds of billions in reconstruction funding, territorial swaps, a demilitarized zone, arrangements for the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant, and American-backed security guarantees. Essentially a sweetened Witkoff–Dmitriev plan.
2. Putin goes on television, announces that the “Special Military Operation” is over, accepts the agreement, and declares an end to offensive operations.
3. Trump announces that America considers the war over and formally certifies a cessation of hostilities to Congress (setting the stage for lifting sanctions on Russia). He warns that if Ukraine rejects the agreement and continues military operations, Washington will consider Ukraine as the aggressor, not the victim, and reconsider its military, intelligence, and diplomatic support accordingly.
4. Markets surge; oil dumps. A handful of European leaders, China, and other governments welcome the breakthrough and congratulate Trump on ending the war. Trump spends the final days of the American election campaign declaring that he accomplished what everyone said was impossible.
Is this the very scenario President Zelensky was concerned about on television today?
This is entirely possible, but totally unacceptable
The US signed an agreement to protect Ukraine if they gave up their nukes
This is a complete betrayal of that agreement, so why should Ukraine or any other nation believe that the USA or Russia would honor these terms?
