“The USA haven’t spent a single cent on Ukraine since January 2025, so more than 1.5 years. We in Europe are doing it.”
MAGA are still moaning and whinging about Ukraine, while their leader enriches himself and drives America into the dirt.
Trump first. 🤦♂️

America has fallen.
Vance: "I've never met Putin in person. I've spoken to him on the phone. He was calmer than you might expect. The American media has a stereotype of him. He's very deliberate and measured in his words.
I think, at his core, he's someone who cares about Russia's interests as he sees them. One reason he respects the President is that he recognizes the President cares about the interests of the American people."
Is this satire?

Ukraine’s top drone commander Madyar: “Kyiv in three days” will never happen again. “The Baltics in three days”? I’m not sure.
Drones are this century’s plague. NATO overestimates its readiness for the Russian tech pressure Ukraine now holds back.

The degree to which Russia has compromised the Republican Party
is the great under-reported story of our time.
“We are going through an energy shock. Ukraine has decided that they want to blow up Russian energy assets. This is creating pressure on prices globally,” – Bessent.
Ukraine has “decided”?
Are you fucking kidding me???
Russia has spent years bombing our power plants, destroying our energy infrastructure, attacking our cities and trying to freeze Ukrainians in winter.
Ukraine didn’t wake up one morning and “decide” it would be fun to attack Russian energy infrastructure.
We are fighting a fucking war of survival because RUSSIA INVADED US.
So sorry about your “energy shock.”
We’re experiencing the slightly bigger inconvenience of trying not to fucking die.

Please return to the bargaining table and resume all flights. This strike is causing unnecessary stress to all passengers which we do not deserve. Passengers have paid lots of money for their flights and bookings....do not hold the passengers hostages in the summer!
@WestJet
So @WestJet Can you confirm WS0611 is not cancelled? You’ve rebooked us on a porter flight from Hamilton to Ottawa then on WS0611 to Calgary. I don’t want to fly to Ottawa to get stranded there. Plz advise
Why would you rebook our flights to an airport you aren’t flying out of

Canada's industrial relations record in the airline industry is a complete joke.
This is the THIRD time since 2024 that one of Canada's national airlines has been completely shutdown due to a labor disruption.
Add to that two other disputes which resulted in hundreds of cancellations even though agreements were reached at the very last minute.
A total of FIVE major aviation disruptions in 3 years impacting hundreds of thousands of Canadian travelers who have likely lost tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars in lost deposits and cancelled trips.
Compare that to the U.S. where the last airline strike was 16 years ago (Spirit Airlines in 2010) and the last major national airline strike was 21 years ago (Northwest Airlines in 2005). You'd have to go back to 1993 to find the most recent one before that.
Meanwhile, U.S. pilots and flight attendants are among the best paid in the world while several U.S. airlines rank among the world's largest and most profitable.
Canada can either continue to stick its head in the sand and pretend this is just the normal way of doing things or it can wake up.
Canada's broken industrial relations system which places the interests of the public last once again.
Every single day of this strike will impact 60,000 to 70,000 mostly Canadian travelers most of whom will have no alternative.
Summer peak flights on other airlines are either already heavily booked. Deposits for hotels will be lost. Weddings, cruises and other immovable events will be missed. But it isn't just vacations. Funerals. Trips vital appointments. Job interviews.
Canada treats transportation the same way as it treats factories. The system rewards brinksmanship, posturing and intransigence.
There are better ways and it starts with putting Canadians first.
Currently stranded because we added a wedding. Seeing union members smiling while we are all stranded doesn’t really sit me with me well.

The #oilers need to give Stauffer a raise after this summer. Telling him to come out and saying “the team can’t do much because of Nurse”, right after teams like Florida just revamped 25% of their team effortlessly, is brutal.

As evidenced by the unbridled promotion and implementation of technology at the expense of human dignity, we are truly experiencing an eclipse of the sense of what it means to be human. It is imperative to recover an understanding of the true meaning and grandeur of humanity as intended by God. It is in this sense that the challenge we currently face is not technological, but anthropological, and it is my hope that the Encyclical Letter to be published within a few days will contribute to answering this challenge.
