How did our great country end up like it is today. 11 years of Trudeau/Carney have run Canada into the ground. Carney and the Liberals have just put a nail in the coffin of young people and laid off workers for finding jobs. As of November 3, employers will no longer need a Labour Market Impact Assessment to support job offers under Express Entry. That removes an important labour-market safeguard from the permanent immigration process. Perhaps it is time for young people to look at emigrating to countries where they can work and have a chance of buying a home, saving some money and raising a family. Florida which has no state income tax would be a start. The way that people, especially boomers, have embraced Carney and his policies is disgusting. Our fathers and grandfathers went to war to protect current and future generations of Canadians - not to have Liberals run it into the ground.

Paris Has Fallen. There is a Palestinian flag at the top of the Eiffel Tower. America WAKE UP. This could easily happen to us.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The claim that a Palestinian flag is flying from the top of the Eiffel Tower is false. The video is AI-generated and unrelated to real ongoing protests in France. fullfact.org/world/viral-im… indiatoday.in/fact-check/sto…

🚨 HOME DEFENSE AND 2ND AMENDMENT DEBATE: In Bingham County, Idaho, 85-year-old Christine Jenneiahn defended her home after a masked intruder broke in, struck her over the head with a flashlight, handcuffed her to a chair, and threatened her disabled son. Despite being bound and injured, Christine managed to maneuver her chair to her bed, retrieve a .357 Magnum from under her pillow, and fatally shoot the intruder when he returned to her room. Idaho prosecutors subsequently ruled the shooting entirely justified under the state's self-defense laws. Do you support the absolute right of homeowners to use deadly force to defend themselves and their families from intruders? YES or NO? 👇

And Canada declares martial law for... honking?
5,000 cars have been being burned. Hundreds of buildings have been torched, looted, or vandalised. There have been more than 1,200 casualties. Over 5,000 arrests. One month of riots. At what point will the French riots be designated a civil war?

I showed up at the final Forever Canada rally at the Alberta Legislature as one of the only Alberta independence supporters in a crowd of Canadian nationalists. I came to ask questions, challenge ideas, and have conversations. Instead, I was met with hostility, insults, swearing, and people who clearly didn’t want me there. At times, police officers had to stand nearby for my protection. Here’s the irony: These people were rallying to defend Canada, a country that supposedly stands for freedom of expression and democratic debate. Yet some couldn’t tolerate one Albertan peacefully expressing a different political opinion. If Canada is worth defending, shouldn’t freedom of expression be worth defending too? Watch and judge for yourself. youtu.be/_ezf_hnuR0U

We know why.
Why are the New York Times, CNN, and BBC working overtime to make sure not a single Palestinian flag makes it into their photo coverage of the French protests?

Some of the most important changes in our history began with ordinary citizens being told to accept things as they were and deciding, together, that they would not. Five Alberta women stood up and challenged the status quo. Through the Persons Case, the Famous Five helped change who could have a seat at the table and a voice in the decisions shaping this country. Their example matters as Albertans vote in today’s referendum. Citizens have every right to question whether the current system serves them and to work together to pursue a different future. We do not have to agree on the outcome to respect that right. Asking questions and advocating for change are essential to a healthy democracy. Whatever your position, get informed and get out and vote. The future is ours to help shape.
Asking a question is not treason. Silencing the debate isn’t democracy. Albertans have the right to advocate for independence. The Supreme Court already treated secession as a lawful democratic question. @echipiuk’s full speech at We Unify 2026
