Nirvati 0.1.1 and @runcitadel 0.4 Alpha 1 (Very early preview) are coming soon! 🛡️ Nirvati 0.1.1 contains a security fix for an issue that would let an app potentially communicate with other apps without you being aware - Nirvati is designed to prevent this by default.

With our license, you can not restrict the installation of other software. Any vendor that ships Citadel or @getnirvati must allow users to run other software too. This is a part of the GPL and AGPL 3.0, and while often controversial, we completely support this clause.

We've now published arti-controller 0.1.0. arti-controller is a minimal @TorProject controller for Kubernetes, allowing you to run Onion services directly from Tor. Unlike existing solutions, it is built on top of Arti, a rewrite of Tor in Rust. arti-controller.nirvati.org

This means that arti-controller only requires one pod to run for the whole controller, instead of one pod per Onion Service. This is a huge improvement in performance, especially for smaller Kubernetes deployments.

For @getnirvati, we just published a Kubernetes controller for Tor. It allows declaring onion services directly in Kubernetes. We will soon publish a helm chart to make this work in any @kubernetesio cluster. gitlab.com/nirvati/citadel/a…

This project is based on @torproject's Arti, which is a rewrite of Tor in @rustlang. We hope to make running onion services easier than before for Kubernetes operators with this tool. You can now deploy an onion service on Kubernetes with just 12 lines of YAML 🚀

I want to thank @nodl_it and @V4BTC for openly supporting the @SamouraiWallet cause. I understand why others might hesitate to speak out and support us - be it for "political" reasons or for being afraid to have a target on your back. But in this case, our differences should be put aside. You might not agree with the messaging of Samourai Wallet but the result of this case might be weaponized against us all. The Tornado Cash case has showed us that the state will use any dirty tactic to go after people. This time it's Samourai. Next time it might be you. #freesamourai
