I was a senior software engineer at a reputable SaaS company before the final mass layoff. I hate LLMs, data centers, and especially the morally bankrupt CEOs.

I also wanted to pull out a special part of the piece: fuck Jensen Huang. By forcing customers to take early delivery of GPUs to boost quarterly revenues, he artificially inflated the price of RAM and every consumer electronic. He and his hyperscale paypigs are scumbags.

This is a bad sign, because people stop paying their car note last, for obvious reasons. Auto loan delinquencies going up mean people have tried everything else to get by first and are now at risk of losing their ride.

BREAKING: America’s $1.7 trillion auto loan market is headed for a crash, per Reuters. Auto loans are now one of the biggest sources of household debt, bigger than credit cards. And the strain is showing: 1 in 5 Americans is behind on at least one loan, the highest since 2010, and the average car on the road is now nearly 13 years old, a record.

Just spoke to a woman who was replaced by AI Lost her $55k/year office manager job She began to cry I asked why she’s upset “You should be happy- you’re now a proud beneficiary of a public trust that AI companies are setting up to benefit the public. You’ll make hundreds or even thousand of dollars several years from now when these companies start to make distributions, if they decide they want to.” AI is helping people so much

Another force majeure has hit the AI industry
Holy smokes - NextDC From Bloomberg: Nextdc Ltd.’s shares plummeted after the data center operator said it was considering force majeure options and cut earnings guidance as community opposition delayed one of its major projects in Melbourne. The Australian firm revised its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization for the current fiscal year through June 2027 to between A$245 million ($172 million) and A$265 million, down from A$385 million to A$410 million, in a statement Wednesday.

Want to know what SpaceX actually believes? Skip the speeches. Check the capex. Last quarter the company spent $19.59 billion on capital projects. $16.44 billion of it, 84 cents per dollar, went to AI data centers. Power, cooling, compute, software buys. Q4 guidance: another $35 to $40 billion of the same. The moon city would need closed-loop life support, habitat construction, radiation shielding, resource extraction on the lunar surface, agriculture in a dome. Whole fields of engineering that barely exist today. None of that is getting built. No program, no budget line, nothing. Musk can promise anything on an earnings call. Money only goes where belief is. And every capital dollar at SpaceX says the future is a server rack in Texas. The fanboys can keep quoting the moon speech but the checkbook shows otherwise.

Reality check: It's very strange to me that otherwise sensible people think that AI companies will simply start sending out weekly checks to all 8 billion people in the world, within a few years. Any company CEO or Board that did this would be violating their fiduciary duties to investors, and would quickly be replaced by leadership that doesn't betray its investors. There is no plausible world in which AI companies will distribute most of their revenue to the rest of humanity, unless they are coerced to do so. And who exactly would be in a position to coerce them, if they run everything?
2 years from now you will not work you and will not worry about money you will get your cash payments from from all the major AI labs think of it like 3-5 companies giving you a thousand dollar check every week
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
No major AI labs have announced or committed to universal $1000 weekly cash payments or an end to work/money concerns by 2028. Discussions involve speculative proposals and limited small-scale pilots, not firm company plans. telegraph.co.uk/business/2026/… businessinsider.com/sam-altman-ubi… bloodinthemachine.com/p/the-first-ba… cdn.openai.com/pdf/561e7512-2…

Yesterday was Elon’s greatest magic trick. It got everybody believe an amazing technological gap had just been made. I got fooled too. At first, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I was so excited. And don’t get me wrong , the technology, the precision at which the car did what it did, was fabulous. However, it was not a car doing it. And that is the true, Machiavellic genius of Elon. There is no flying car. There is no car at all. It was an empty shell. As light as possible. No seats. Nothing. Full of gas tanks. With a maximum of 2 secs of thrust usage. In other words, it was a drone. A drone with a shell that looked like a car. Imagine if it had been a square piece of metal instead. You would have said “nice”. The truth is, it is nothing more than that. It was not the car that you will see in the street. It was just a piece of light metal, that had the same body as the one you wil buy. The technology exists since a long time. If nobody did it, it’s not that they didn’t think about it’s it’s because it is not sustainable. It is not achievable. So why were we fooled ? Because most people can’t imagine the biggest entrepreneur and genius of our century would have put millions into a show and be ruthless enough to put a fake car in a demonstration with the goal of selling something that will have nothing to do with what he is showing. It was a show. A spectacle. Pure manipulation. Ruthless, immoral marketing. The whole “ socialism vs capitalism” or “Europe vs America” we are seeing is the result of a fabulously done propaganda. The car doesn’t fly. It never will. Most importantly, there wasn’t any car on that show. But the brainwashed idiots that we are will rush to buy it, waiting for another two years ( 9 have passed already since the preorders), only to receive something that has nothing to do with what we have seen. Expect the shell. But in 2026, it seems it is what we are. Empty shells for which entertainment and lies are enough to make us dance like apes. Porsche maybe didn’t do a flying demonstration. But at least they will deliver exactly what they have shown. And it will drive better than any Tesla ever will ( especially if it weights two fugging tons).

I hate to be the one to burst the Tesla bubble today, but the spectacular “flight” we witnessed at the Roadster reveal needs a little context. The car is carrying around 250kg of compressed air, plus the weight of the tanks, valves and thrusters needed to contain and release it. Based on the published figures, that gives it roughly 1.5–2 seconds of maximum thrust before the system needs to be refilled. In short, it's a gimmick.

I'm not an Elon hater. I'm just telling you the Honest Truth: This is a marketing stunt. The technology is quite old. Just nobody ever thought of bolting it on a car. Because it's pointless. Porsche or Ferrari could also build something like this if they wanted, but they don't, because it's not worth it for them. It's worth it for Elon though, because his entire brand is all about having the halo of futurism. His marketing scales especially well with tech gimmicks like this, which is why he is financially incentivised to do them, while others aren't. Again, I'm not hating, but actually educating yall. This is not engineering genius. It's marketing genius.

AI is literally a scam, the most sophisticated scam ever. They created a machine that mimics the output of intelligence. Then told everyone it was really intelligent — an impossibility, but the illusion was convincing. Based on that deception, they fleeced investors of trillions.
Not sure who needs to hear this but.... An LLM doesn't "understand" anything. It is a statistical model that spews out tokens based on probabilities calculated through massive matrix operations and context, not an understanding of the subject matter.

This proves that your entire thesis about AGI is incorrect. LLMs are not a mysterious black box where superintelligence emerges. They are the digitized artifacts of humans compressed into a manifold. It means scaling to AGI is idiotic and your company’s p(doom) is 100%.
