Our article in IJERPH’s special issue “Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation, Treatment, and Health Related Quality of Life" showed that maintaining healthy myofiber type and metabolic function may be achieved by early utilization of Comb-NMES. We need more muscle research in SCI.
