Nothing says β€˜feminism’ quite like telling women they need a lesson because they refuse to surrender their boundaries to males… You can keep shouting β€˜patriarchy’ all you like, but the position you are defending is literally that women should subordinate their privacy, safety, language and sex based rights to the demands of male people, and that women who refuse are ignorant, hateful or defective. That is not women’s liberation. It is the same old misogynistic script with newer vocabulary: women are acceptable only when they comply. Women do not need your permission to say no. We do not need your primer. And we certainly do not need to be lectured about our own interests by someone insisting those interests become irrelevant the moment they conflict with the wants of males.
I have literally never seen so many women who need a primer on feminism. Astounding. TERFISM IS NOT FEMINISM. Terfism is patriarchal, anti-woman, anti-feminist nonsense.

Once again: when a so-called β€œtrans man” gives birth, it’s not proof that men can give birth, it’s proof that β€œtrans men” are women.
It's funny to me that terfs forget about trans men

Adam Buxton, Jon Ronson and @louistheroux have all been in my home and met my daughter. Yet they all think this man should be legally entitled to enter a female-only space with her.
Trans people are just perverts looking for validation

It's rare that I find myself agreeing with Roo, but this is spot on. Currently parkrun is very much a men's sport, with men able to take placings and records away from women in the female results category. There really should be a women's category though.

Of course anything where you have a metric from 1 to wherever is competition and yes a race. Why all this stupid taboo about a community event on a Saturday where people go to race. Stop this nonsense of identity. You don't accidentally finish as no 1. Ridiculous shenanigans.

Someone commented about my broad shoulders on this post πŸ‘‡. I think it was supposed to be insulting. My shoulders are from starting my sporting life as a swimmer, supplemented by the past 7 years pushing a running buggy over many many miles. I'm quite proud of them πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ
What a beautiful day for a #parkrun (even if there was ice on my windscreen when I left home ❄️) It's a shame I'm stuck in the PNTS category until we get one that's fair for females, but I was more than happy with 3rd overall this morningπŸ‘πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜Š #RealityRulesRunnersUK

I've got very broad shoulders too. Fantastic for rowing, I wouldn't want to be without them!πŸ‘πŸ˜‚

Do you want to protect the bricks too?! You're sounding a little on the transphobic side!πŸ€”πŸ˜‚

You're forgetting once again about those finishing positions posted in male and female categories. I know, it's easily done when you want to keep men in female categories!

xitter.cf/hecheateddotorg/status… So because you haven't seen it for yourself, you don't believe it's happening?!
🧡Parkrun has recently been in the spotlight regarding the battle for women's rights. The organization allows men to run in a "female" category where they are then ranked and their times are compared to those of actual female participants. There has been a lot of talk about how this is necessary for "inclusivity" without any explanation as to why. In fact, many of the men who run in the "female" category had no problem previously running in the "male" category, and parkrun even offers a "prefer not to say," option so that men who don't want to call themselves men don't have to. Despite all of this, these men receive quite a bit of support in registering as "female" without the majority actually understanding who it is they're really supporting. So I'd just like to take a minute to introduce you to a few men who believe themselves entitled to run as a "female" participant. Of course, this is not all. Still no evidence of that though Guido despite asking you for evidence of that on a couple of occasions. The issue is men in the female category.

Is that another attempt to describe men in the female category?!πŸ˜‚

Germaine has it right. Young women in particular beaten repeatedly over the head with the β€˜be kind’ stick has meant they just don’t realise what they’re sacrificing until it’s gone..
How many times do we have keep saying it.....let's all follow Germaine Greer's lead.

You'll be keen to answer me in that case Kenny. Why haven't you taken your own advice and left it to parkrun to provide information? Why are you still propagating propaganda? Did your advice only apply to those you disagree with?

By outliers, you mean men in the female category. At least be honest about what they are Guido.

Once he's backed into a corner & looks a bit ridiculous, he rolls out the policing of language crap. Yes, we're policing language because words have meanings & look what sort of mess it can you in by attempting to twist it!

More people want a fair female category than there are males running in the female category. However the impact of those males affects all the females they displace. If you care about prioritizing participation, protect the female category and make it for females only. People who want female category for females only > males self identifying and cheating female category.
