More people want a fair female category than there are males running in the female category. However the impact of those males affects all the females they displace. If you care about prioritizing participation, protect the female category and make it for females only. People who want female category for females only > males self identifying and cheating female category.

The frustrating thing in the parkrun debate is all the people who are quite happy to agree that the current categories are a bit daft, but don't want us to make a fuss because we might "ruin parkrun". Sorry, but parkrun ruined itself when it adopted the daft categories in 2019.

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be in Atlanta on October 21st for Game 3 of the @WNBA Finals!
As you all know, this all started with an interview featuring Gabby Williams of the Golden State @valkyries, when she said, “I have no problem with trans athletes playing on my team or against my team.”
Her words gave me so much hope and motivation to come out as a woman and officially declare for the #WNBA Draft.
I can’t wait to watch my favorite player, the woman who inspired me to become who I am today!
Second, my favorite diva has unfortunately blocked me on social media. But that won’t stop me from showing my appreciation for the one and only @Reese10Angel!
I can’t wait to take some notes on how to finish a layup after grabbing a rebound.
I’m excited to support all the hardworking women in the WNBA and scout the competition before I dominate the league next year, unless they change the rules!
And remember, the last time I attended a WNBA game, it became the most-watched game in league history!

Follow up story on @RRRunnersUK - the running club set up to challenge parkrun’s policy of allowing male runners to self ID into the women’s categories and steal the placings & records.
I was looking more closely at a separate development regarding a ‘rival’ running group - which has promised to give ‘transphobes a fright on Halloween’ which there wasn’t space for in the end. 🎃 👿

Parkrun censored the word “Fairness” on this shirt.
Fairness is one of parkrun’s 5 core values - the description of it here👇is the exact polar opposite of the censor’s shameful behaviour.
Parkrun have escaped with an apology this time. Next time they might end up in court.

It is rather alarming, to say the least that out of the supposed 80 trans people in the UK, over 150 of them are currently in jail for serious sex offences.
