WindowShade 1.0b2 is out. It adds Origami and Bats animations. It also adds an option to hide the genie effect completely (off by default)
Adding animations is stress-relieving and fun. But making the Metal fast is hard.

Tried using @claudeai to “find all bugs and edge cases in my code” then it started disassembling the WindowServer frameworks (I didn’t ask it to) and threw up a cannot continue because cyber error and told me to apply to the CVP if I wanted to continue with the task on Opus 5.5.

Sigh. Sept sales weren’t that great for FMR & XR (although it’s moot as Paddle says they don’t pay until the 14th).
I am $2700 too short for Sept’s rent and will be evicted October 10th. Any help to prevent that would be extremely, greatly appreciated. gofund.me/7a571d042

Anyone care for a WindowShade Redux?
It works but WindowServer no longer lets you set geometry for windows you don’t own, so there’s some fakery going on.
