Hi All. Haven't been on twitter for a very long time. Hope everyone is well! I was wondering if anyone has a contact for building a website? Especially regarding building an online educational course? I have my content idea but need help on the tech side. Much appreciated 😊 #ELT

When you finish teaching a class, what are the things that make you think ‘that was a good class’ vs those that make you frustrated or annoyed about how it went?

The good news is that the Cambridge Handbook of #TBLT, edited by Mike and @mjahmadian (featuring chapters by our podcast guests), will come out this year. Looking forward to it. cambridge.org/core/books/cam… (2/2)

Follow up question the great minds of #ELT in this thread 😉. Why is the #Delta associated with moving into a management role? It does not cover teacher training, business management or HR training. Why can't we be teachers? @neil_mcm @11thhourspecial @admiralwamy @RobbioDobbio
Happy Friday everyone! Just a question for those who are now in a more senior position in ELT. How long was it post Delta that you got the position? Would you say you were 'ready' at the time of starting the role? Thanks!

Interesting read on Cambridge Exams! Must say I've had similar thoughts particularly in the UoE parts.
What a great idea for online classes 👍🏼

So pleased to finally complete the Delta 💪🏽! It was always a dream of mine since doing my CELTA in 2014. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears but it's all been worth it. Thanks to all who helped with advice, books and websites along the way! 😊
Not good news at all!
Terrible news for teachers and other workers at International House language schools in Catalonia. The Barcelona school, along with those in Terrassa, Sabadell and other towns, have ceased operations, leaving approximately 300 people unemployed. #ELT

So excited to share this guest post on how to exploit reading texts from @Twinklresources! It even includes a hedgehog pun! How is that possible?! Great job @MirandaCrowhur1 - really useful for teachers!

Nice to get Delta module three under the belt. Was hoping for a higher mark but can't complain. 5 month wait to see if I've completed the set.

It's been a while. But it's not been a typical year! First blog post of 2020. Three games for recycling & practising vocabulary using tablets or (personal favourite) mini-whiteboards. Inspired by (aka shamelessly ripped off) Richard Osman's House of Games efltakeaways.home.blog/2020/…
Really interesting read! Currently awaiting results to see if I have completed the Delta or not and starting to think about post Delta options...
Answer (of sorts) to question from a reader:
