Seriously, you can now vibe code any piece of software imaginable and you shipped a pedometer?

Claude one-shotted the fitness app that I needed, in 30 minutes, and I’m speechless. My “coach” (Opus) tailored a solid strength and conditioning program, gets weights/reps/RIR and HR feedback for each session, and auto-adjusts my program based on my data.
What's the best way to vibe code a personal iOS app (TestFlight only) these days? Claude code (mobile) and GitHub Actions that push to TestFlight? Is there anything better? I'm building a small fitness app just for myself to keep track of my freediving training.

Would you spend November in Porto or Ericeira? Just looking for a place to take it easy and lock in

This prompt gave me chills. A few daemons on macOS are constantly feeding your behavior into knowledgeC.db . Claude can extract insights and know your work patterns, when you were on vacation and more.

I've pushed a major bug fix for one of my apps, and even after asking for an expedited review, it's been in "Waiting for Review" for ~4-5 days now. This is the first time I have to wait so long to get Apple to review a new build ughh.

Mercury is closing the bank account for my US LLC, I think because I accessed it while I was in Indonesia, which is on their list of banned countries (I live in Europe) Does anyone have a contact there who can expedite a manual review? I love Mercury and I would really prefer not to switch! @immad @mercury

Chamath says what made Silicon Valley great is "people that really were idealistic." Here's what he's had to say about idealistic people over the years 🤣 1. Google workers protesting Project Nimbus / Israel Chamath: the workers are "totally naive" and have "basic business understanding" youtube.com/watch?v=HKtlezdP… 2. Uyghurs / universal human rights Chamath calls this a "luxury belief", says it's "below my line" youtube.com/watch?v=qbeHyN15… 3. Green energy/ Anti fossil-fuels Calls this perspective "institutional decay" and "virtue signaling" youtube.com/watch?v=bcGwHwor…
Chamath says Silicon Valley lost what made it great and only cares about money now "Silicon Valley has completely lost what made it great. It was a place for weirdos, for people at the fringes, for people that really were idealistic. And it has become something that's far from that now. It is the equivalent of what Harvard used to be. It's a credentialing place." "When we came, we used to aspire to meet the Bill Campbells of the world, Mike Moritz, John Doerr. Those folks are gone. We used to aspire to work for Steve Jobs. He's not here." "And in that breach, all we have done is focused on making money in every single way that we can, hand over fist. And there's nothing wrong with that. Except now it’s at a point where we need to do a better job of acknowledging it and trying to do a little bit better.” “Every time we don't, and we're given a chance to be better, and we're not, the hatred builds, the animus builds. And that's what we're seeing now."

Tbt the good days
I helped a US-based startup find an iOS engineer and they’ve sent me the finder’s fee ($20k) today. American companies are truly built different 🇺🇸🫡.

What are you using to build and test your iOS app faster in the LLM age? xcodebuild is taking ages and creating so much cruft. Is there something better?

On y plante.
