A major fire broke out at Khlong Thom Centre on Worachak Road in Bangkok at about 8.50pm on Friday (August 28), with the blaze starting in a shop on the first floor.
Firefighters and rescue crews from several areas rushed to the scene, but the flames remained out of control as emergency teams worked to prevent the fire from spreading further.
By 10.16pm, reports indicated that parts of the building had begun to subside as crews continued efforts to contain the blaze.
