Joseph Kosinski is directing the Miami Vice reboot & I think regardless of who stars in the film, Kosinski’s involvement is what has me most excited. Factor in that the cast is actually awesome - Danny Ramirez joining Michael B. Jordan and Austin Butler - and my expectations for this film are starting to go to the moon. 2028 is starting to look like a really formidable year for Cinema.

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
It's not warm when she's away
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And she's always gone too long
Anytime she goes away
Wonder this time where she's gone
Wonder if she's gone to stay
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone

Joy Division’s legendary performance of “She’s Lost Control” on the BBC’s Something Else show (recorded Sept 1, 1979, broadcast Sept 15) is one of post-punk’s defining moments. Filmed in a stark, unadorned Manchester studio, this rare national television appearance perfectly captured the bleak beauty, mechanical rhythms, and raw emotional intensity of the band.
