you know exactly what you want to build.
you can picture every detail in your head.

everyone says taste is the most important skill in the age of ai.
but what good is taste if you can't get it out of your head?
sabi is building a cap reads what you mean straight from your brain signals. no typing required.
it's still early, but imagine where this could go.
what if the hardest problem of building wasn't explaining what you wanted?

every week someone tells me they’re going to vibe-code their own @beehiiv alternative over the weekend.
wishing them the best, here’s the backlog of things to make sure to include:
> 99.3% email delivery rate (industry-leading)
> team of deliverability experts with decades of experience
> infrastructure to send 3M+ emails per minute
> validating every single email submission (1st and 3rd party)
> automated bot-detection to prevent spam signups
> registering for every mailbox provider’s feedback program
> ingesting data from said feedback loops and building suppression lists
> tagging every email so gmail reports complaint rates per newsletter
> classifying every bounce (hard, soft, mailbox full, DNS failure) and knowing which ones mean “try again” vs. “never again”
> three layers of suppression: global, per-publication, and transactional
> temporary suppressions that expire on their own, and permanent ones that never do
> one-click unsubscribe, the way gmail and yahoo now require it
> warming new IPs and domains on a schedule
> watching blocklists around the clock, and pulling an IP from rotation the moment it’s listed
> retrying deferred mail for 24+ hours before calling it a bounce
> blocking disposable, invalid, and typo’d addresses before they ever reach the list
> rate limiting every signup endpoint a bot can find
> filtering bot clicks out of every report (something we pay an ungodly amount of money for)
> an acquisition source on every subscriber
> engagement history for every reader, across every post
> multiple sender addresses for different emails
> custom domain configuration that is aligned with DKIM, SPF, DMARC
> a true WYSIWYG editor: what you write is what lands in the inbox, with no HTML required
> turning that editor into table-based, inline-styled email HTML that holds up in outlook
> real-time collaborative editing, so the whole team can work on the same issue at once
> dynamic content: different sections for different readers, all in a single send
> separate email and web versions of every post, from one draft
> free and premium versions of the same post, split by a paywall break
> merge tags that personalize every email, and a simulated subscriber to preview them before you send
> templates with saved colors, fonts, and spacing, plus a default style for every post
> columns, tables, buttons, blockquotes, sections, file attachments, and a table of contents with anchor links
> native embeds for X, youtube, tiktok, instagram, bluesky, stocktwits, and podcast episodes
> polls, referral blocks, recommendations, and ad slots, built right into the post
> an AI writer, AI images, and a built-in AI agent one keyboard shortcut away
> images resized and optimized automatically, however they’re uploaded
> a live email-size gauge that warns you before gmail clips your newsletter
> custom HTML blocks, cleaned so a stray script tag can’t break your post
> automatically hiding anything an inbox can’t handle (video, iframes, audio) in the email version, while keeping it on the web
> links and embeds made clickable even in outlook, which ignores links wrapped around tables
> vertical alignment in columns, because a layout that looks off by 4px looks broken to readers
> converting your newsletter to audio versions for readers who prefer to listen
> random cohort sends to randomly split your list to test different content and conversion
> slash commands: type “/” and insert any block without touching a menu
> markdown and keyboard shortcuts for people who never want to touch a mouse
> pasting from google docs with the formatting intact
> search and replace across the whole post
> comment threads right in the draft, so editors and writers stop living in google docs
> footnotes and citations that work in the inbox and on the web
> code blocks, for the technical newsletters
> an AI writer that rewrites, translates, and fixes spelling and grammar in place
> autosave, so a closed tab never costs you a draft
> subject line A/B testing, built into the send flow
> drag-and-drop images, from your computer, your media library, or a URL
> rich-text image captions, plus image titles and alt text for accessibility
> audio files that play inline
> file attachments, so a PDF can ride along with the issue
> sections with their own backgrounds, borders, and spacing
> blockquotes with custom borders, colors, and styles
> content breaks and dividers that render cleanly in every inbox
> a REST API for subscribers, posts, segments, automations, and more

oh, and besides having to manage all of this on your own indefinitely forever… your vibe-coded solution will still require paying for and stitching together a ton of software:
> email sending (sendgrid, amazon SES, postmark)
> web hosting (vercel, AWS, render)
> database + queue (supabase, neon, RDS)
> payments (stripe, memberful)
> auth (clerk, auth0, supabase auth)
> monitoring + alerting (sentry, datadog, pagerduty)
> workflow engine (inngest, temporal, upstash qstash)
> bot protection (cloudflare)
> email validation (zerobounce, kickbox)
> email rendering (litmus, email on acid)
> click verification (omnivery)
> media storage + CDN (S3, R2, vercel blob)
> product analytics (posthog, mixpanel)
…but at least you saved $59/mo not paying for @beehiiv anymore 🫡

ai voices sound pretty damn good now. but editing them is still a pain.
you get a perfect take, except for one word.
fix that word, and suddenly the whole line sounds different. now you're regenerating it again, trying to get back to the original take.
fish audio's drama 3 lets you fix that one word without touching the rest.
and instead of messing around with [whispers] and other tags, you can just tell it how you want something said. like you're talking to an actual voice actor.
that's the kind of control ai voice has been missing.

your decision model is making confident calls on data it never saw.
most decision models chunk anything long. i keep running into it on jev.
give it a 100-page contract and the liability clause on page 2 can be gone by page 50.
the dangerous part isn't that the model forgot.
it's that it still answers like it didn't.
subq snap takes 384k tokens in one call, no chunking. 99.8 on decision ruler at 256k. jev, chunked, gets 90.7.
and it's $0.05 per million input tokens. output is free.
let snap handle the structured calls. let your llm handle the open-ended ones.
stop paying frontier prices to ask if a ticket is urgent.

Introducing SubQ Snap, the first long-context decision model for real enterprise work.
Snap is the only decision model or LLM where compute per token stays constant as context grows.
• 384K tokens of multimodal context, 12x larger than Jev.
• 61.7 on Decision Index v0.2.1 vs Jev’s 57.9, outperforming on 13 of 16 enterprise benchmarks.
•Processes 100K tokens and returns a decision in under one second.
•$0.05/MM input tokens. Output is free.
Available today to anyone.
The first 10,000 sign-ups get 100M free input tokens.
We’ll likely hit capacity fast and will add users as we add compute. Compute offers welcome 🙂.
Latency will be variable as we tune the platform to this new model and category of users.
Model speeds are 80ms for minimal context, 250ms for 32k, 660ms for 100k, and 2.5 seconds for 384k.

every department in your company wants ai. none of them need a frontier model.
i turned @av1dlive's inference guide into a 30-second film. one support ticket, from enter to the last word. it shares a gpu with strangers and survives a dead worker before you see a single word.
watch it once and you'll know what inference engineers actually do all day.
2026 is the first year the world spends more running models than training them. $23.3b vs $19b, per gartner, driven by fine-tuned models running inside company systems.
nobody wants to pay a billion dollars in tokens for work a model made for their stack can do. but that model is only cheap if someone knows how to serve it, and anthropic lists those roles at up to $850k.
av1d's guide is the path to becoming that person. it starts with a 0.6b model on your mac:
→ a gpu kernel you wrote yourself, by month two
→ killing a worker mid-answer, on purpose
→ a benchmark that shows where your own change lost
the model is free now. serving it is the job.

→ kimi k3 (2.8 trillion params) runs locally off my ssd as the qa agent
devin builds in the cloud. kimi checks it locally. i wake up to a reviewed pr.
that's how a 100x engineer moves.

the local half: github.com/justvugg/colibri
pure c, streams the experts off disk. k3's checkpoint is ~1.5 tb, so size the ssd first.
for qa, use its brio mode: it scores merge / request changes / close instead of writing a review. 0 tokens generated, so a slow 2.8 trillion parameter model still finishes overnight.
chatgpt sign-in lives in devin → settings → account → "continue with chatgpt".

what i'd build on it:

- a short-series studio on cinema studio
- an agent that renders 20 genjutsu variants, keeps the best
- one product photo in, a 10s video out

what i'd build on it:

nobody taught this robot football. it played itself for 140 years.
every opponent was a previous version of itself, each one tougher than the last. then skild took it out of the sim and put it on a real pitch against a human.
AlphaGo did this to a board game. now it has legs.
We trained a robot to play football.
How? Self-play for 140 years in a virtual World Cup.
