I find it interesting how people view AI as this thing that will progress humanity so far, but it only works by training on human data.
If we stop creating without AI, we are forever going to be stuck with 2026 music, 2026 programming, 2026 art, and so on. Is that progress?
Since people are currently talking about this vibe coded port, I might as well take the opportunity to show you guys my “port” of Mario kart Wii on the Nintendo DS. It has been in development for five-ish years and AI is not being used nor will it ever be.
