@harmonyprotocol, I believe this will be a better outcome for everyone. Instead of simply migrating Harmony to Ethereum, I believe this should be the moment to hand Harmony back to its community. I’ve been observing this space since 2009, and I genuinely believe Harmony’s validators and developers are some of the most resilient builders in crypto. Your experience, knowledge and commitment are still incredibly valuable and much needed to the crypto space. This also doesn’t have to be an either/or decision. We can still pursue the Ethereum airdrop while keeping the Harmony L1 network alive. Let ONE holders elect a council and/or validators to take responsibility for the software, infrastructure, treasury, domains, repositories, bridges and other critical assets. Instead of closing one path to create another, we can preserve both and let the community decide how they evolve. The future possibilities go far beyond a simple migration. 🎬 Video Remix Payout Maps Creators, remixers and contributors could share in the value generated as content evolves, gets remixed and spreads. 🎮 Portable In-Game Assets Characters, digital athletes and other creator-owned assets could move across games and experiences, with value potentially flowing back to their creators wherever those assets go. These are just potential use cases for Harmony on Ethereum. The bigger opportunity is community ownership, coordination and experimentation. Keeping the L1 alive while expanding into Ethereum could potentially add more value to the entire ecosystem while honoring Harmony’s original vision and the early adopters, builders, validators and community members who believed in it from the beginning.
