This is a long run campaign about the moral hazard of energy standing charges. They're a disincentive to reduce bills, far too may pay even when they don't use. 95% support a shift it to 'a pay for what you use' model. Its the biggest complaint people have sent my mailbag for years.
Both Lab & Tory in last election said 'they'd reduce them'. Yes energy prices are far too high, I've long campaigned on that too and we need more effort on that. However don't throw the baby out with the bathwater, fairer pricing matters too. This is a good switch I hope the same happens on electricity.
Replying to @MartinSLewis
Martin is involved in another situation that just shifts the charge from one area to another. So it's effectively completely pointless.
Good work that, mate 👍🏼

Tell you something more disturbing.
We were in this gaff Tuesday, busting for a piss.
Door was locked a good 20 minutes, so asked the bar man who was in there.
He said no one, it’s a sliding door.
Looked a right lemon.

There’s a reason he got the basic goodbye from the club. Because he stitched them up. They’d seen two players leave and he decided he’d do the same as Isak. Play it out through the likes of Romano & Ornstein until there was no going back.
Sleepless nights? Fuck off. He didn’t give a shit. He saw what the Isak saga did to our season and didn’t care one bit about doing exactly the same.
The CAPTAIN by the way. The precedent Isak set was bad, what he did was even worse. Now he’s crying please don’t boo me. Well fuck you. #NUFC

“I had so many sleepless nights… it was not easy at all for me to leave Newcastle, the connection there was special”.

🇩🇪 🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Borussia Dortmund will REWARD fans who DON’T use their phones during matches!
The German club is introducing a new “Fan Mode” in its official app, where supporters earn points for every minute they go without unlocking their phones.
Fans who collect the most points can win SIGNED SHIRTS and shopping vouchers.
The initiative comes after a study found that 63% of supporters regularly use their phones during matches.
