I despair. Every time I want to use a #bitbucket repository there some form of error or issue that's stops meπ«€
1 hour plus over their 2 hour estimate. Website is now back, git remotes still not accessible - loads of permissions and connect errors on that front still. Their status page states everything is ok π
bitbucket.status.atlassian.cβ¦ states all systems operational, website and Git not working π
bitbucket.status.atlassian.cβ¦
That states the updates will take 2 hours. We're now 3 hours in with no further updates from @Bitbucket . Appreciate things may not go to plan in a migration, but at the very least you can keep your status page updated π
So their status page states 2 hours of downtime for some updates their end. That two hours passed nearly 30 minutes ago now. For a paid service this is not great. Tempted to start moving things to GitHub next week.
The new Laravel Forge is absolutely spectacular. Massive kudos to @laravelphp and @jbrooksuk π
Watching an insanely good series on @laracasts by @mateusjatenee on defensive programming π₯π₯π₯

One of the only parts of Laravel I was disgusted by is now fixed. π§Ό
When defining a local scope, you no longer have to prefix the method name with "scope". You can just add the new Scope attribute to the method.
Thank you @SHaedrich and @crynobone. π«Ά

Foolishly used @RoyalMail for the 1st time in years. Makes sense why they're in the poor state they currently are. Paid for a tracked service with collection within a 2 hour window. #royalmail didn't turn up, no communication, no apology, 2 hr wait on their support lines etc.π«€
Wow, just come across ran random YouTube short from @enunomaduro about the backtick Execution Operator in #PHP. I've just spent the last 5 minutes shaking my heading saying "wtf" π Run the below code in a #laravel controller to be amazed.
OK, #postman is gone and @use_bruno is now my go to local API tool. It's so much more snappy compared to Postman and is all local. Feel like a pleb for not using this sooner.

Update on this. When you eventually get past their first line support and speak to a technical person (thanks Dom by the way) they're excellent π
It appears Google Authenticator has just been updated. I can FINALLY search my codes. Talk about a massively long overdue feature πππ
What am I missing here? I'm paying ~Β£22.00 per month to @digitalocean for a 2 CPU / 2 GB RAM / 80 GB disk. Have just tested an @OVHcloud_UK server, same spec. expect a 40 GB for less than Β£5.00 per month. Does anyone know if #ovh are doing something #digitalocean are not here?π€
